If I remember this correctly, the air filter has a slightly angled flange on it. This lets you rotate the turbo inlet pipe a bit and everything should line up and clear the hood. I think I can see it in the picture.

The shock tower brace on the yellow car was a one-off, and was mostly there for SEMA show appeal. Pay no attention to the backwards BOV on that car either - that's what happens when a metal fabricator puts a turbo on a car the night before a show...

You see the angled flange from my pics or the other cars? If mine, where?

If not mine then I'm probably just missing the part, after all it's a used kit.

The pictures of your car. Pull off the air filter and look at the flange.

Hmm...my air filter is connected directly to the mass air meter just like the installation manual says.

what keith is trying to say is the your filter has a 10* angled flange on it, if flipped upside down it should point more flat when you rotate the piping back.
