Yeah dude, it sounds terrible. One of the reasons its been sitting. Sure I could deal with the exhaust smell......to a point. But its stupid to deal with the exhaust leak and drive around with it sounding like ***.

I wanted to update this thread and share these pictures that my gf helped me PS. I told her about the calender thread, so she said she'd help me out and do some work on them. I chose the first one for my submission.
This is the first time any of my pictures are like this, so I'm getting into it. I'm glad she has PS on her mac.
Looks like I'll be taking the miata to the shop tomorrow to start pulling the FM3 parts. Still no interest in the parts, other than people asking 1 or 2 questions and then disappearing. Ohh well, ebay will work.

Car looks sexy. Cant wait to see those new hotparts on there, gotta get on that! I was planning on doing the same 2 tone deal with my car, except paint the mirrors black as well. ... still not sure if I'm going to end up doing it that way or not, but it sure looks sexy.
Oh.. and how does 250whp feel?

Thanks guys!
To be honest with you, I didn't drive the car enough, nor was I confident in the car enough, to have fun with it. Just normal driving the car feels great! It definitely feels like it has way more power than my previous setup, but between the registration bullshit which kept me in check, and now the exhaust leak, I really haven't fooled around with it too much.
I cant decide if I'm going to take the car to the shop today or not. I want to get these parts on now that I have them, but I just have too much on my plate right now to be under the hood of the miata.....again.

Ok, so an update we have
This weekend I was supposed to go away with my gf to Vermont, but......that didn't end up happening. We got in a huge fight last night over some little **** that didn't even matter, but it blew up and the trip was cancelled.
So today, I decided to take a day for myself. I haven't had one of those days in a long time, so I took the miata down to the shop with all the new parts from Abe. My buddy was kickin around and wanted me to swing by and pick him up so he could chill at the shop, which was cool to have some company and a extra set of hands. Even though I'm probably hard to work with, maybe because I wont let anyone turn any wrenches (they can just hand them to me). lol
Anyways, the FM3 stuff was a bitch to get out for the 48th time, but that was expected. Abe's parts on the other hand, went in rather smoothly. I must say, it was a little intimidating putting on these parts, but the install went great. We were at the shop for about 7 hours, about 5 of them was actual wrench time, the rest was bullshitting and beer drinking.
To sum everything up quickly, (because my body is sore from leaning over the car for so long, and mentally I'm exhausted) the car still has a leak. But this time its from where the cat bolts to the dp and exhaust. The test pipe didn't fit correctly, so I had to put the cat back in and the diameters are so different, that its just flowing right the **** out. Other than that, everything is ****!
How was the drive you say? How about ******* GOD DAMN AWESOME! The car sounds INSANE! I wish like hell I brought the camera to take a video leaving the shop. The spool is wicked loud! That video of Jarad's car that was posted with his dyno run that sounded like a jet? Bingo, I have that sound now! I really didn't push the car tonight, so I cant fairly comment on whether its faster or not, but I plan on going back to the dyno at some point. Maybe if someone buys my FM3 stuff I can use that cash to go sooner.
I want to give a HUMONGOEUS shout out to Abe. ******* awesome dude that got me exactly where I want to be with this car. His parts are amazing and really are a work of art. My buddy was even saying what a shame it was that such awesome looking parts are going in places they wont be seen, but at the same time how it just makes it even more badass.
Onto the pictures...............and bed.

I know dude, I was thinking that yesterday. Thanks man!
Dude the ARTech dp looks like a ******* monster next to the FM3 dp! I really cant believe the difference in spool it makes. I'm excited to take it to the dyno to get some actual numbers to compare.
I like the TSI's, but I think the smoked stock lenses look much better as well.

I know its not the best video.....but I had the camera with me and figured I would get this spool sound posted to share. I wasn't really getting heavy on the gas or anything, it was too wet out. Also note, this video is with the cat half assed bolted in place. So there's a leak coming from down there which makes it seem a little louder than it probably should be.
What a shitstorm it was out today. I had a terrible time driving around in the miata. Half the roads were flooded and my windows hated me to death and kept fogging the **** up!

I'm still debating on going for the boardslide on the rollbar photo for the calendar submission thread. Its been such a long time since I've been on my skate deck that I'd probably end up nutting it on the ******* bar, and going over the side of the car face first into the ground.
When I took the turbo off I cleaned it up, checked all the fittings, checked for shaft play, etc. Everything "seemed" to be good.

Hrrmmm. I'll have to check that out today when I get second. Are you suggesting that with more flow maybe it'll have a better chance to breath?
