hi i dont normally come on this site as i am from uk and use mx5 nutz but i need your help despratly i am in need of 2 gaskets in a certain material or advice on what i can do .
ok here is my story i have the etd racing manifold and garrett t28 turbo but its genrally the same setup as the greddy one but not greddy parts and i have a leak on my head to my manifold and also my turbo gasket after 4 days has dissolved , if you look at the pics below there are my 2 gaskets and the clean gasket is the type of material i am after but in those 2 gaskets i need help ,
or the other thing is what have you guys done to stop gaskets blowing so quick ?? i am running 9psi boost btw 320cc injectors and got 2.5 inch exhaust straight thru no cat and got innovate lc-1

It looks like you might need to resurface your gasket surfaces. If the shop does a good enough job you may not even need a gasket. See if you can find a shop that will surface grind both surfaces of the manifold and the turbo inlet to a finish of 16 (microns differential height). I think that will be sufficient to run without gaskets at the (relatively) low pressure.
If you can't find a shop to do that then use a metal straight edge diagonally across each flange. Use a feeler gauge to see how much difference in height there is between the high/low points of the flange. If it's more than about .015 then it needs surfacing so your can keep gaskets.

the manifold/turbo gasket for a 300zx twin turbo vr4 should work, but you should try no gasket and tightening the sucker down better....looks like you had two leaks on the head as well.
