At 200whp you already have problems with diff temps, but nobody measures so nobody's the wiser. If you were to seriously race a car 10+ times a year at 300-350whp, I'd suggest re-greasing the CVs at least once or twice a year.

thank you sir. i'll put a temp sensor since the diff is out and get mentally prepared to add a cooler. and here i thought cv's were a set-and-forget.

since i'm re-wiring the car, maybe i'll bite the bullet and just install the cooler. was looking at something like this. i thought the geared lsd's run cooler than the clutch lsd's so we should consider ourselves lucky?

whos running a cooler anyway? bbundy fessed to sans cooler so i'm guessing not too many
