Help me pick new track car
local guy races here, and his front a arm joints were seperating from the frame. Honda wouldn't waranttee it, and said the car was a write off. I think his was a yellow 02ish (newish one). Anyone else know or hear about that?
FWIW, those youtube vids of the R8 crash, if you look at the 5:02 length version, the viper in front blows smoke half way around the track. Yes, he was offline/balance, but the oil on the track doesn't help. Then it shows small fender damage on the R8. Of course, that is probably a S2000 cost fix!

Our runoffs winning T3 S2000s are ridiculously fast and they are surprisingly stock. CR Aero makes a big difference.

yes they do that. when you run r-comp, front aero, rear aero. locally fast S2K Challenge drivers have that issue. I know of 2 having that issue. once you get down to ~7 seconds below SM record. for some reason, it doesn't happen to all the fast S2K guys. still not sure why.
I could only get a 2:03 Friday, I know where I could get some more time but I spun out and the second time you get the boot off the track. I think a 2:00 flat is in reason if I man up in some of the faster corners. The car needs some stiffer springs, front sway, and better brake pads.
