225/50 is still more side-wall than I like, BUT they are much cheaper than hohos in the same size ($242 in R6)

I, for one, am all for the TTA change simply because it would make it easier for me to fit my car into the class... and I could go nuts on aero if I felt like it.

I may go to the truck-stop to weigh my car. Yeah, that's it. Weigh my car.

The unlimited mods would let me add things I'm restricted on now. FM butterfly and frame rails, FM cannon brace, TSE BBK, flat bottom and diffuser. Not sure what else. Just need the $$$.

I'm just concerned with what other big budget builds would bring to the track. With next nationals being at Miller, about 12 hours from here, I was debating about trying to run up there.

Well, I never weighed it last night because I got busy and lost track of time.

looks like TTA is definitely becoming TT3. we get 9.0 lb/hp w/o aero and 9.5 lb/hp with aero. What do you guys think? Apparently the your car's base weight and your tire type/size also apply a modifier to your lb/hp #. I haven't had time to read it all over yet.

I think Greg G. is being retarded, making a class no one asked for. Forcing all the PT/TTA people to spend a bunch of money.

Regardless, you'll still be racing against a bunch of low-prep but still fast corvettes

Yea, I think my chances of being competitive are pretty low (not that they were high before). I did come across Hustler's N/A classing thread over on the NASA forums... I like where he is headed.

Why spend the money and deal with the headache of the turbo just to be noncompetitive? Might as well just get rid of the turbo. I guess I'll wait and see how it works out for him.

I'll just keep wallowing in indecision...whatever I do, it won't be time trials.
