I think it really depends on the power and tires, but its just speculation. The rear doesnt see nearly as much braking load as the front, obviously; to the point where on some high hp cars, it may be a wash. Especially autocross toys, drag races, and aidan, who will shock load the driveline and rear suspension under acceleration. On a stock 1.6, I can see brake force outweighing acceleration forces.

Having said all that, the snap ring load capabilities were researched, it wasnt blind engineering. Snap ring will hold over 9k lbs.

Also, while we are on the subject, make sure you install the snap ring the "right" way.

Snap rings are punched out of sheet metal with a die. The process leaves the edges of one side of the ring sharp, and the other side is rounded. The sharp side always goes in the direction of load. The rounded side can act as a wedge or ramp and help the ring pop out under load.

You all will notice I install the snap ring into its groove for shipment. This is for a couple reasons, quality control being the main. I make it a point to install them in the proper orientation, so if you are unsure of which side is which or what im talking about, just put them back the way they came after you install the bearing.

Previous group buy people- If you paid no attention to this, dont sweat it. Its not a big deal, just something to do if you know about it. Your snap ring isnt going to pop out, I promise.

Good call on snap ring orientation. Hopefully I will find some things to press the bearing in straight tomorrow at work. I too shall post photos of the same thing everyone has already done.

PMs sent.

Turn around from machine shop is usually a week to 2 weeks. Ive already started making spacers, and ill try to make the rest in that time. Assuming quick payment from everyone, it should be no more than 2 to 3 weeks.

Again, if you have adjustable camber bolts in your upper knuckle, please make sure you let me know.

So, what are the odds of these being available after the group buy? I don't need them right now but would hate to miss out. And I have the same question about the bronze bushings.

Both sphericals and bronze bushings are planned future SADFab products. Prices may not be set in stone.

Assuming everyone on the above list takes a set, I still have 8 kits available for future purchase.

And it looks like bronze retrofit will be an ongoing project.
