threads in bending are bad because the minor diameter is relatively small compared to the rest of the structure usually associated with a thread, and there is an abundance of stress risers due to the threads themselves. an in a lot of case it is cyclical and to some extent reversing, which is really bad.

^what he said.

But yeah, those are probably the only rod end based front uppers I'd seen for a miata that I would feel safe running. But I think I got a plan. I will be using the stock dimensions as I feel I can get a sufficient amount of caster with the NB subframe.

ABS is worth way more than 1lb of unsprung weight per corner. Faster, more consistent stopping, less octagon shaped $1200 sets of tires, etc.

Wrong end of the car. More of this is needed on the front

Nicely done though.

Going to do the front as well switching to NB knuckles but not much excess there other than the ABS boss.

Know you have a ton of spacers to make, ETA? No pressure, just curious, engine out for new rods and freshen, so I am not going to the track any time soon.

Called in an order to Motion Industries for a pair of Aurora AIB-10T bearings for these sleeves (These). Sales person called me back to say that they won't ship from the factory until ~4/1.

Just a heads up for anyone looking at the moment.
