But yeah, those are probably the only rod end based front uppers I'd seen for a miata that I would feel safe running. But I think I got a plan. I will be using the stock dimensions as I feel I can get a sufficient amount of caster with the NB subframe.

ABS is worth way more than 1lb of unsprung weight per corner. Faster, more consistent stopping, less octagon shaped $1200 sets of tires, etc.

 

I get to count my personal labor as free so yea. Takes a couple hours with a angle and die die grinder.

Know you have a ton of spacers to make, ETA? No pressure, just curious, engine out for new rods and freshen, so I am not going to the track any time soon.

 

i spent about 4 hours today making spacers, some of them were yours bill. ill be sending yours out tomorrow.


parting is one of my favorite things, i find it soo gratifying. i get to part no less than 90 times. 88 spacers and 2 **** ups lol.

i also have a chip fetish, heres an interesting one

Called in an order to Motion Industries for a pair of Aurora AIB-10T bearings for these sleeves (These). Sales person called me back to say that they won't ship from the factory until ~4/1.
