Brace done the quick 'n dirty way. A random bolt and some nuts I found. Preload is adjustable this way too.

I'm interested in making a brake cylinder brace for my NB Miata. I have a Wilwood V8 brake master cylinder. I also have a Cobalt 3-point tower brace. What I plan to do is try to find the parts that I circled in yellow and then weld it on my 3-point tower brace. So my question is where can I buy those parts circled in yellow and what are they called ?

Just a standard plastic (nylon) bushing. You could use anything there, whatever fits.

Starting from the MC, I see a plastic bushing/spacer.
Next is a washer, two nuts, a section of threaded rod and another nut.
On the end is a hex spacer with a hex bolt in the end.

Everything should be available at any decent hardware store.

Got all the parts today from Lowes. Was only around $4. Btw the FM brace is better and cost half the price of the Garagestar. I would have bought the FM brake brace but they won't work with a v8 brake cylinder and 3-point tower brace...none of the ones on the market will. So that is why I had to go the custom route . I will do a write up.

Garage Star and Flyin Miata offer them.

i made mine from a bit of 3"x1/8" flat bar cut and bent to shape and a 3/8 rod welded to brace it. very very cheap and very very effective! feels like i have braided lines!
