Hmmm..

Went to the USGP a few times when it was at Indy, didn't hear any "SCREEEEETCCCCHHH". I guess they weren't going fast. Probably too low, right?

I can't wait for the track crew to find this and make the OP's ricer video look even more pathetic than it already is.

Exactly - You simply cannot maximise a lowered suspension on the street in real world siuations -- you guys mod your cars for the labratory, whereas mazda engineered the car in stock form for THE ROAD

I will take on ANY LOWERED MIATA on any WINDY public street road AND WIN. Guaranteed. I base this on the simple facts that a lowered miata has less suspension travel and thus no warning of feel for the 'danger zone' THUS the driver goes SLOWER in a turn rather than to the limit...

I go to the dragon many times throught the year - NO CAR has ever come close to beating me, except oddly enough an old stock MG.

I have vids to prove it

I drove into oncoming traffic. Everyone pulled over. NO CAR ever came close to beating me, except oddly enough, the POLICE.

Dude, fight your own battles, dont call the 'track crew' to save you from your failed logic.

Track set up is for track (ie lowered) street is for street

If you guys get a chance - I know you all hate Mr.hives - but if you get a chance get in a NA stock miata and hit the streets, you;ll do better than your crappy dropped civic clones made for roads with no traffic
:noob::facepalm:

buffon01 11-28-2010 03:54 AM

Hey OP keep making them videos know wha im sajin yo... While you're at it get a style bar. Push, and Push the car more every turn. ;)

YOU FAIL, try again later.

18 psi,

watch the vids, I NEVER went on the yellow line. However the lowered miatas did as they needed extra room to 'set up' their turns.

Dont hate - you attacked me from the get go - jsut try it one time before you knock it. Mazda COULD HAVE dropped the car 1" IF IT TRULY MADE THE CAR HANDLE BETTER - but duuuhhh IT DIDNT!!! even the NC is not 'lowered' again it doesnt make the car handle better on real roads...

this place should be called trackmiata.net

until then: PWND

kotomile 11-28-2010 03:57 AM

lol, "the dragon" is a road, not a race, with speed limits and non-participants in your "race".

Your one-dimensional mind can't comprehend, apparently, that someone would change more than one variable of a suspension IOT make it work properly.

Go to Laguna Seca or any of the Texas tracks. Hell, any track would do. Several members are under the SM records. If you even come close, THAT would mean you have "skillz". But you won't, so you don't.

18psi 11-28-2010 03:57 AM

:bowrofl: love the tags for this thread..

OP apparently thinks driving like a douche through some twisty road screeching tires and bogging down to 5mph is something mazda engineers designed the miata to do

:BSmeter:

Suspension travel means next to nothing... it's all about spring rates and the dampers used to control said springs.....

If you're willing to be civil, teach you much I can grasshopper.

Yes, because once your car is lower than 1'' less than stock, there is just no awesome shock and spring combo that can compete with stock!!!

Is yours an R package, if you even own a Miata. That would be a little better than standard.

buffon01 11-28-2010 03:59 AM

I'm going to feel bad for the fat chick sitting on the passenger side once this idiot wrecks himself. Oh well, should have been smart to get in the car in the first place.

LOL! NO 18psi - Mazda designed this car to be raced on track day only and on a abandoned runway dotted with orange cones!

LOL! dude the car was meant to be DRIVEN in REAL LIFE - not on 'track day' and 'cone day' give me a break.. 5pmh it all you want! LOL! thats satans spiral in PA and you cant make that noise going 5mph!! try 35 in a 5mph hairpin!

And stop speaking to the herd when you post looking for sheep approval from the flock -- post up to me dierectly... stop looking for approval:jerkit::loser:
