With the shell prepped and painted I was able to start pulling apart the drivetrain and get it under the car

Engine almost settled into place, definitely not as easy as I had hoped and in hindsight I wish I had taken more care. I hit the coilpack on the firewall and a couple months down the road started having issues with the car and had to chase down a misfire

Eventually I got the motor and rear end in place and after fighting with the PPF for about 6 hours it all lined up and got bolted together

These photos are slightly out of order but gives a pretty good idea of how to painting process went

Not the greatest "finale" photo but this is what I ended up with after I buttoned up all the small things and got the bumpers and everything back on the car

Shortly after that last picture was taken, I got tires mounted on these Enkei 92s and the same evening I officially moved to Orlando

The night I left for Orlando..

Here are a couple shots I took with my DSLR a few days after I arrived in Orlando

Dirty, dirty car... She made the 4 hour drive with absolutely no issues

From this point on I'm just going to be posting the mods I've done from this point on and in no certain order until I get caught up to the current status of the car

I decided that I didn't like my chrome woodgrain wheel anymore so i masked it off and got to work

and then I bought this grip royal wheel instead! lol

Next project on my list was to sand and paint my hardtop. It was originally red, painted blue and it's now black to match the top half of the car
