Can somebody Measure

a brand new 1.6 OEM clutch disc thickness for me? I need to see how worn some of the ones I have around are before using or discarding them.

from the service manual:

Measure the thickness of the lining at the rivet head on both sides with vernier calipers.
Replace the clutch disc if less the minimum

Minimum thickness: 0.3mm (0.012in)

why not call anyone that sells them new? i bet they have a spec on hand. how about FM?

according to a conversation i had with a tech from Spec, the OE 1.8 discs start out at ~.310 - .320"

dunno if that helps at all

heh? That sounds incredibly thin, that's the thickness of 3-4 human hairs. And their explanation doesn't make sense. Is that total thickness of the friction disc, or from the top of the friction disc to the top of the rivet head?
