Is it just me or are there no water jackets in that block?

Also, if you don't go back to that thread on 6G and reply to Timbostang with "More than you can afford, pal" I will be sorely disappoint.

I think that bottom pic is incomplete, and in the pic with the head studs you can see holes that arent threaded and look like they would be water passages, they just have the deck as closed as possible for power holding.

So what did I break? Im guessing turbo?

Its my cousins bugeye with a few bolt ons. It was smoking but had a good compression and leak down test, no oil in intercooler, but a bunch of oil in manifold. Figured the pcv was bad so I replaced it with a bunch of the breather hoses. Took it out and it had pretty much stopped smoking so I did a 3rd gear pull to see if it smoked under boost and this mess happened.

I think your tests were skewed by the amount of oil sealing the rings...

I'm really wondering if I should skip worrying about making the car track ready and just go FI since that would make much more enjoyable everyday.......

I just like the idea of the car having a big, obnoxiously loud BOV.

And of course 270-280whp, instead of about 165-170whp.
