Ms-ii
So if I picked up a MS-II that was previously not used for a miata, what all do I need to do? I have a 96 that is stock besides test pipe, headers, and exhaust, but I am putting my turbo on as soon as I get a manifold and downpipe and intercooler. So, I was wondering where I can get a basemap for my current conditions, and advise on what to do when I put my turbo on.

Or you could use a Ford EDIS setup which is a bit better tested but needs some more fabrication.

You'd need to attach a Ford-style crank trigger (like these) to your crankshaft pulley and fabricate a bracket for a sensor. EDIS would not wire up to your stock wiring; you'd have to make a new harness for it.

Well, I am a complete noob at this, so bare with me. Why do I want this Ford-style crank trigger? Does everyone who uses a Megasquirt have to use one? What is the other thing right near it in the second picture?
