spark map: am i an idiot?
here my spark map, i was thinking about upping the boost and i want to know if my +/- 150kpa map was good for a starter
setup is
1990 1.6
mspnp1v3
familia 7.8:1 compression pistons
b6t a-beam rods
460's FC
toyota cop
artech log+3''everywhere
gt2560r@10-12psi
i know i can run mad timing with such low compression and 94 octane, but i just started tuning myself(tired of waiting for proper tuner who ''have some time'')
so, what can i do with it, get more agressive timing? if so(sorry to ask) but where and why?
or maybe just suicide myself for running that map
thanks a million

here my new map, scaled to 250kpa,using the sparkmap that Mr.Brain have proposed just before.
i tried to get something straight, havent tried it yet.
should be safe-ish?

Are you planning on running 21ish psi?
Your first map was good to under 6psi, this one goes up to just over 21.
I found it easiest to alter my maps in Excel. Copy/paste, then get rid of the rows above your target pressure. Interpolate between the rows you're left with to end up with 12 rows.

when you boost, you normally hold the pedal down right?
and this in turn holds the pressure steady after boost builds?
so it sorta travels like this:
if you're always making the same peak, and every time in between is just as boost is built during spool/shifting. Why would you need more rows?
im being serious. why do I need those two rows above? why would I need 4 between if it interpolates?
