93' Miata stolen and flipped build thread
I love how much we pissed off...everyone, at the diner. Eclectic group of people yelling about Miata crap...hilarious.
I too was sad I had to bail early but it was totally worth it. Next time I'm towing the Miata behind the Jetta in comfort. Although, on the drive back, I think the only reason I didn't pass out and crash is due to how painfully uncomfortable the car is after 3 hours.

Well, I know what I'm building this weekend. Not sure what parts I'm going to use it on, but when I do the brake ducts, it'll certainly give me a perfect mold to the lip opening as Hornetball did by hand.
I've always wanted to make one. This guy has one of the best heating solutions I've seen for equal heating, which is usually the hardest part of this. I have a space heater that rotates 90º and blows hot hair which I will use instead of his quartz heater.

No plans, no. First I gotta live up to the hype I've made about this ducting. Then sweat in nervous anticipation to hear what a fellow perfectionist (Revlimiter) thinks of my work.
Then I'll let yah know if I make anything else!
(Really though, this would only be for my nerdy desire to make cool things. Ain't nothin' "in the works".)

Stop being such a woman and reading into things Rick.

I just want to make sure he likes it before I agree to make any more....Then, maybe for a select few(labor is high). Hardest part is the variance in radiators, intercoolers, and piping. Rev's is quite similar to mine so I'm making all the shapes, and letting him cut the intercooler hose holes/mounting holes.

Us perfectionists can recognize our own. I've been known to spend full weekends redesigning logos which have the final version only fractions of a point different than the original. 3 points are roughly 1 millimeter. lol
It's all in the details.
Also, nice plastic welding!

I'm honored that my car has a place in this thread, even if it's just to be made fun of.

I ain't laughin' at yah, just at the awesome sharpie notes! You crashed it and owned it rather than cryin' in a corner like some would. Plus your short shifter is godly(compared to my slushbox). Did you get your fuel cut out taken care of?

lol if only we had a pic of it. Drove a couple more laps never using more than like 1/4 throttle because otherwise it'd hit boost cut, lulz. Pop BANG.
Does your boost cut only cut spark and not fuel though? Mine was surprising as hell when it happened(tuned my ebc finally so it doesn't happen anymore) but I never got bangs or anything spark/fuel related.

Seems like that's the case, resulting in the 4-foot flames
