God I hate it when I do that or forget to take the old filter out of the car before I fill it up.

This is why you are required to have a cat, thus easy access to kitty litter for cleanup.

I've been changing oil for 8 years. Still can't believe it :) It was only maybe 2 seconds of pouring.

Idle oil pressure is 35. Seems low for a new oil change?

The first time I changed the oil on my current Audi, I didn't have a new crush washer for the drain plug so I reused it. It leaked, doh! Given that it holds 10 quarts of $10/quart oil, I wasn't about to throw it all away. Bought a new drain pain, drained the oil into it, replaced the crush washer, then poured it back in the top!

Lol. I haven't changed the crush washer on this since I bought it...

Presumably that's in Australian dollars, so roughly 3/4 that in USD. Still high.

What happened to the front of your car? Looks like dirty mike and the boys had a turn on it...

aidandj 07-03-2015 11:24 PM

Trans is gone. I still have 1st. But second sounds like marbles and still works. 3rd is gone. 4th and 5th are good. Wish me luck getting home :)

6 speed is getting shoved in sooner than planned.
Who has links to the 6 speed FSM.
