You probably won't be able to notice the difference, but honestly I would use the JDM Sport one. Fins inside look MUCH better.

Both suck but both should do the job.

I love my egay intercooler. Intake temps are always quite manageable.

If you are going to use either use the shitty top one, it's a delta fin inspired one so it'll flow a lot better than the bar/plate one.

Being a brand ***** to a Chinese rebranding factory is a terrible life's ambition.

Oh I just saw these other comments. Installed the Mishi IC and the car actually blew up. Like, literally just burst into flames. It was just that bad of a unit I guess.

wtf. are the fins not even louvered like the JDM one?

both are poor, but I'd stick with the delta core tube&fin beat to hell IC over the non-IC.

Vlad this might flow better inside, but I'd rather have 5psi of pressure drop and 80% efficiency than no pressure loss from air passing through a pipe with slots and 10% efficiency.

That was my thinking.

we *think* we are idealists. But here we are, telling him he bought the wrong eBay intercooler and suggesting he should have bought a DIFFERENT eBay intercooler. Just ONE of us (you, sean, in post #135) quietly suggested that he get a true, quality, name-brand intercooler, and nobody recognized it.

We are mf'in cheapskates.

Ok, let me rephrase that.

We are cheap *** idealists

Also, as Vlad pointed out, very little(if any?) empirical data exist on any of these egay coolers. Even the one we tout is based on anecdote from visual appearance.

I will post some data later in regards to IATs using the two intercoolers I have and then we all sing Kumbaya after my car blows up again from using the Mishi one.

Way back, JasonC swapped out his AVO barNplate for a TDR tube/fin.

-Pressure loss:
TDR is better by 0 to 0.5 psi

I picked up an eBay (EMUSA) delta fin (thought Brainy got the same design) at that time for improved exchanger flow (I run AC). The core/tube ends look like typicalsteve's eBay/JDMsport on the end, but just past the entry you can see the fins have vertical, angled slits that dip into the air flow. I wonder if the JDMSport is not the same- you just can't see it in the photo.

m2cupcar, thanks for the detailed response! I will be doing testing on the intercooler this weekend.

My 180 tstat and gasket from BEGI two days ago. My box of seals, gaskets, and hoses came from Rosenthal yesterday. I will finally be able to get this clutch in- Woo!

I installed these guys last night. The car actually doesn't stop at all now. Like, I'll press on the brakes and nothing happens. Been having to use my e-brake for now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm blaming the holes in the rotors for the stopping issue. And they look terrible. So
