Hello everyone..

Currently on the road to putting a kit together to get my car charged..

The car I have is a 1990 eunos roaster 1.6 and pretty much bog standard...

Im based over in Cork in the south of ireland..

Im a virgin to turbo engines so ease it in slowly

I've pretty mch spent a month researching and im reading corky bells book after seeing all the recommendations

My list includes the following

Garrett t25. Obtained
Hoping to save up for an Artech main and down pipe
Wb02
Braided lines
IAT
Knock sensor
I have a n uprated clutch..

Are you going to rebuild the engine? Why did you remove it?

did a bot more this weekend. the Ecu and manifold will be ordered at the end of the week Rang Joe Power in Dublin and had a chat about mapping.. . pics below of the hydraulic cam followers. most of them were pretty much solid so hopefully the clean will sort the ticking on warm up

when the mounts get here pop the engine back in ordered an ARtech downpipe and manifold, megasquirt ECU and an intercooler kit from MX5 DAN in the UK..tipping along nicely now

Looks like a good parts list, only thing is I would go with a more proven clutch: ACT or FM in particular. Don't want to have to replace that sucker after all this work.

I agree with you completely.. I dont like the clutch really but it might have to do for a while.. I shouldnt have bothered getting it in the first place but ill have to see how funds are after i get my injectors.. Which is actually something i have no idea about.. Is it a case of the biggr the better or is there a fine balance there..

Another thing i never highlighted properly was the reason the old engine is being changed.. Apart from it being ridulously high mileage wise it was also a short nose crank version. The new one is a long nose

That clutch has been proven time and again by many people on this forum and many others too.

As for injectors, go big and never look back.

With injectors the size is not the only specification that matters. Injector technology matters, and you want the newest tech.

Miata/RX7 injectors are EV1 (1976 design, yo!)
RX8/Deatschwerks are EV6
Injector Dynamics are EV14

If you only want to buy injectors once, go with Injector Dynamics ID1000.
