What do you want to know? I didn't tuck the main harness for the engine/fuse box, just haven't got around to it. I might just leave them there for now and concentrate on getting the car running once I'm done working on my jeep.

my wire tuck was a little different. I just removed everything and soon I'm going to do some pruning with dikes. My car gets lighter every day.

I ran the wire through the openings for the airbag sensors, along the subframe, and basically any place I could find where they would be out of sight and just drilled a bunch of holes to hold the insulated hose clamps. I soldered everything. You have to unplug everything, cut off all the connectors, pull the wires through, lengthen/shorten, then solder the connector back on. It's not really hard so-to-say, but it sure is time consuming. I think I spent a solid 8 hours doing this wire tuck. Hopefully it starts!

Don't forget to pull the p/s pump and loop the rack. Then you can turn that reservoir into the ultimate stealth catch can. :bigtu:

IMO powersteering on a Miata on a track at speed is frightening. The load on wheel through a turn at over 60mph is nearly non existant - it feels like the front tires have a 100psi in them. But OTOH p/w in a miata is great for parallel parking, which you'll probably be doing a lot of in this car. ;)

Hi. I'm looking at your build (tranny swap) and got a couple of questions. First, if you sum up everything, how much did you spend not taking labor into account? What I mean is, cost of the tranny, metal plate (adapter plate), clutch, driveshaft, etc.. What was the width on the metal plate? Where did you find the clutch and was it for a TII or for the Miata? How much hp do you think it'll hold? I'm looking to do the same build as I already trashed mine @ 300hp and want to have an idea on the budget I need to gather for this build.
