Man just read your whole build thread you have some mad skills like the car. Will be borrowing some ideas.

 

Cspence... remember off hand what length bolts you used? Found my local place doesn't have what I need really... so I'm going to just order it. I hate ordering if I don't have at least an idea of length.... hard to return when not local...

For the flares? They were 5/16-18 x 1-1/4" SHCS

 

Did you ever install the 550's?

 

i used 1" bolts and .75" bolts and had plenty or room

They could have been 1"....I don't really remember

**Edit, I just double checked and I did use 1" bolts

 

i would use .75" if i could do it again.

 

So do it again, they're only bolts....but then again what's it really matter? you gonna save some weight

I finally got my *** back in gear on finishing that master cylinder stopper. I must say I am impressed at how much firmer the pedal now feels.

To attach it I drilled & tapped the STB and then used nylon locking nuts on the back side to keep the bolts from loosening up on me.
