Cspence, you asked him what was the nasa event, and he replied... no confusion anymore:P
looks good man! that intercooler is massive, love the look it has.
did you do any ducting between the intercooler and the rad? with it sitting that far forward i would assume decentgains in cooling effiecency with proper ducting.

Still waiting for the spacers which are due in on Monday (3/1). I was in the mood to do something so I made this install tool at work to hold everything while I tightened the spacer on. To make it I just punched out a couple pieces (.048" Steel ea.) on our turret press and spot welded them together. God I can't wait to get these damn spacers and some tires....

Spacers finally made it, I'm stoked! It took a solid 3 weeks but it was well worth the wait since they are absolutely perfect. I took a **** load of pictures so enjoy....
O yea, since I'll probably get asked, the spacers weigh in as follows (WITH the shorty lugs):
30mm - 2.80 #'s (15.5 with the 6ul....not bad considering the 16x9.5 spinwerkes were going to be 16.5#'s)
19mm - 2.05 #'s (14.75 with the 6ul)

The install tool looks like it'll work out. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a perfect fit since I made it a few days ago before I actually had the spacers in hand...

Bout a 1/2" from flush because of camber...I'm thinking once the suspension is loaded and settled it'll be just right

Still trying to finish up some of the projects I started before the nice weather arrives in full force. I was able to get my naca duct all blended in and primed....not a huge task but I should have finished this a while ago
In case anyone is ever curious, I used the Loctite marine epoxy from lowes to attach it and then just blended it in with bondo...

Thats just primer....I didn't want to paint it yet because I'm still trying to decide if I want to mold the lid onto the hood or if I want to just make a few brackets to hold it to the "airbox" I made. Either way I go I'm going to have to grind the edges down to metal for welding...
