The vent is cast, but it polishes up the same as the aluminum hood...

Nice is over rated... I just want my car to be like a 10ft'er, so the rattle can job was good enough. I know where your coming from though

Car looks way better sans stripe and the black rear top area looks great. You should keep the two tone them and move it to the front and paint the lower rocker white.. Did I miss the post, how did you get the lids attached to the hood?

Gotta love the weather!! I made up some clips/tabs to hold the new vent in place and went out for a drive. Heres a couple shots of the car as she sits now with the vent....outside of the garage.

The z34 vent is nice too since it already had threaded studs for mounting

you need to wrap the top, hood, and headlight covers in that material... would really finish the look... or paint to hood and headlights black...

but the polished looks so sweet... Man, what a quandry... your car not mine.

Thats a good question...I'd still gotta get a roll bar, helmet, and get a couple other things squared away. I wish I had'nt spent so much money already this year....I probably wont make it to a track day till next year
