Danger To Manifold or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Boost.

Some pre-install questions:
I plan to put my IAT sensor in the cold side of my intercooler inlet, but obviously that's not installed yet. Where's a good place in the stock intake routing to put the IAT so that it doesn't get heat soaked while I learn how to tune the MS?
Am I correct in assuming I can swap out the OE oxygen sensor for the wideband, and then re-use the oxygen sensor wire going to the ECU harness so that the LC-1 can talk to the MS? I realize I'll have to run a different wire to the gauge.
I've read that the vacuum line off of the charcoal canister is a good location to tap for MAP pressure. True?

Drop it in the airbox or hang it in the air filter. You'll probably end up nerfing most of air density correction anyway...
You can use the ego wire, I put all my stuff inside the car so I just ran it to the db port. Running the wideband in the stock manifold doesn't appear to have killed it, even though it is closer than the manual asks for.
Map comes from fpr, not the turbulent messy front of the manifold.

you want the a/c switch to go into the MS, for A/C idle Up.
I like to wire the EBC back through the MAF for easy wiring since most most it close to wastegate.
When I'm back at my PC tonight or tomorrow am I can give the details.

I have a better way to hook up things than the DIY manual suggests.
