Great to see some pics of this car after hearing a lot about it. Steve dropped by the shop yesterday and told the story of how this car came to be, it's come a long way!

Thanks, Steve said he was going to try to make it by and see your build. It started as a shop toy and continues to grow as a test mule/race car. It is always changing.
Looking forward to seeing your car get on track

Been busy making changes on the car, getting ready for Grid Life South at Road Atlanta this month and Watkins Glenn next month. Motor and trans are back in the car and we hope to make some changes to the exhaust this week.

We've made some updates and freshened up the front end of the car and will be making some aero changes in the next couple of days.

Our friends at CCP Fabrication have released a fastback that we might play with after nationals to see if there is room for improvement over our current set up.

We're going to be testing several new parts at the rear of the car over the next couple of events. I'll post some pictures of those changes as soon as they are on the car.

JPreston- I'll get some pics of the dry sump set up this week for you.

Curious what the fast back weighs. CCP doesn't build heavy stuff so I'm sure it isn't too much of a weight penalty.

If I remember correctly he said 32lbs without the poly windows. Still lighter than a factory hardtop, and much lighter than the factory hardtop and trunk lid.

lol, not quite. I've seen him making this part and it is a lot more involved and time consuming. I believe he's selling them for $1800 Windows included which is still cheaper than anyone else on the market and he'll actually deliver.

I've known him and his brother for a long time and they are good people. He's always been a Porsche guy and his 911 is one of my favorites

That was definitely the weight I was hoping for. If you consider what a race top + a glass trunk lid costs, its actually pretty reasonably priced.

Form and function for a decent price is hard to beat.

Nice lines on that hardtop. I'm sure it's worth $800 over a factory top just for the aero improvements and weight reduction. I'm excited to see it on the car.
