Been a couple busy months finishing other projects but the new motor is coming together and some more new parts are going on the car. I'll post some pics and more info after we get back from The Mitty

I believe so. Last time I saw it there were parts removed and upgrades occurring.

Yes, the newest motor is in. Need to make new lines for the dry sump as they need to be rerouted due to Goodwin's header being a tight fit in the NA chassis. Singular hood vents have been added along with some suspension and brake upgrades that are in progress.

Other projects are consuming our time but Donkey should be back on track for the Nationals at Sebring. I'll post some more updates and pictures after we get back from MATG.

I have som lurking ideas for placing a MZR in my NB when I get tired of my BP6D. A 6sp+2.0 with thrown rod is lurking under the bench. 2025 seems far enough away to seem reasonable...

As for MRZ in a NA I thought I'd share some pics from a racing college build, this was done back in 2015, three sets of bearings were consumed until the Dry Sump system worked correctly, seems to be the norm when doing things from scratch

Yes, its a Duratec, not a MZR, but that would not change much of the installation.
And the huge battery is needed to balance a porky driver in a RHD.

duratec is an MZR.

What valve springs are you guys using? The factory 2.5 ones proved insufficient at even 7psi. I'm installing a set of crowers with steel subaru retainers, the rate appears significantly higher but the seat pressure is within the measurement error of my calibrated arm.

Motor is together, in, and running. Finsihing up assembling the suspension and brakes, we'll be running StopTech front and rear. Should have the car on the alignment rack and scales next week, then onto the dyno.

I need to find a new host for pictures, which one is easiest to work with?

imgur.com seems pretty hassle free and has worked fine with mt.net for me so far...

Headed to Sebring this weekend, I'll post as many pics as I can. V8Roadsters instagram page has some recent pics. Upgraded the wing, running our StopTech brake kit on all 4 corners. This will be a shake down for Nationals next month

Maybe I missed it earlier in the thread but, any details on the new motor? Is it another 2.0 or a 2.5 this time?

Forged bottom end 2.3, motoeast cams, Good-win max power (1.8" I believe) header, etc. Believe we had a oil pump failure early in the weekend, so there is not a lot to update at this time.
But..... big plans are in the works for this ol thing.

On a positive note, the StopTech brakes were phenomenal

Finally took the Donk out of the trailer. We'll work on it between projects so progress won't be fast.
