Since my car is disabled right now, I figured that it would be a good time to schedule a dyno session for next wednesday.

Nothing like a ridiculous deadline to keep you motivated. If you're anything like me this is where we'll see some of your best work. haha!

Min

shake the car down and do some 80% tuning on the road.

THEN schedule something.

I don't understand your methods!

His methods are: break ****, set a close deadline, scramble to get **** together last minute, then end up failing on the dyno or not making it there at all.

Don't question the logic peasant.

Well I just got my NA alternator and VVT hard feed line and if that does not fix voltage issue I will have to relay and up-wiregauge the fuel pumps.

I will indeed need to get my fuel map straight before dyno tune. I do not want to do my fuel map on the dyno.

The dyno session will largely be for

a) QSV tuning- figuring out the best psi for it to open at will make a significant difference in power under the curve. Will have to try with MBC and also solenoid

b) adjustable cam gear- with large amounts of horsepower, moving the exhaust cam gear will help either spoolup and power under the curve or peak significantly.

I have never understood how you c street tune a car, how do you quantify the results? . Hummm, did my last change to the timing map help or hurt power under the curve? Well, seat of the pants tells me I gained 5hp. Yeah? How do you know??

Street tuning is the best way to get the car to drive well, something most tuners struggle with.
You get on the dyno to make power and work on the timing in high load.
