Changed all the oils today. I don't know if its a placebo effect, but transmission ALREADY feels a good deal more smooth on the way from the shop.

The real test will come on monday when I have to go to work and its sat overnight and super cold. It shifts like butter when hot, but absolutely SUCKS when cold.

How are the seats working out? Any regrets? Did you take any pictures of the mountings? Mine are in very sad shape and I can't seem to find anyone with a decent NB1 set that they want to part with, so I'm looking at options. I have an old Sparco Sprint in the garage, but it dislikes me and the feeling is mutual.

I'm back on stock NB2 seats. I'm too big to fit into any aftermarket bucket and be comfortable on my morning commute to work @ 4AM, so I sold them. They felt great, night and day over stock, but hard to get in/out of (as any race bucket is) and just didn't cut it for me overall. Lesson learned: don't buy aftermarket buckets unless RACECAR.

I'll be selling these real good condition NB2 seats soon too though
Have a set of NB1's just re-upholstered with brand new genuine leather that will be going in.

I kinda feel the same way. I had to take a high-lift jack to the Sparco to "open" it slightly so my ribcage would fit comfortably. The seat is awesome at the track where I feel like my body is bolted directly to the car, but daily driving or distance its a bit overkill. I can't spread my legs AT ALL and the 'boys' don't appreciate it on any kind of roadtrip.

I'll be driving through Sac on the 14th, 16th, 21st and 25th. Whatchoo want for dem NB2 seats?

I seriously considered going 2 tone black and tan in the interior and getting a set of 2 tone Katzkins to match, but then I remember I'd probably just ruin the leather and then feel bad.

I have a set of NB1s I may be willing to trade but I'm sure shipping sucks.

I have that same kit but 2.5" pipe. It was a big mistake on my part but you'll love the smaller size. How do you plan to route it?

Same way I routed my previous 2.5" one: behind headlight (like MSM) for hotside and traditional cold side.

What was a mistake on your part? the 2.5" piping?

Yes, hard to route on a NA with PS and AC. I had to cut my fender well to route it and I did a horrible job just to throw it together. Car was cheap so it didn't bother me but i really wish I went another route. I plan to get a new tub and swap everything over because its been in a front end wreck and my body barley lines up, no reason to have a badass paint job when the car has been damaged like mine has. I'll do whatever it takes to get it half as sexy as yours

Can-do! Do you have an NB2 midpipe with good cat in your mess of parts? Dec 16 I'll be driving through Sac with an empty Ford Escape, plenty of room for activities.

piping showed up today

its tiny in diameter. like barely 2". but otherwise the quality is great (very thick alum), couplers are good, and clamps are good.

I think I'll be the 1st on here (that I know of) to runn full 2" fmic piping. lol

Man thats very nicely wrapped. Much better than what i got from the idiots at silicone intakes.

The morons just put a pipe in a box. Both ends were banged up. Luckily i didnt need all of it and cut the bad parts out.

And did you request black couplers with the auction? Just asking because all the auctions I've seen come with blue.
