What is 'a little'? Like, you can barely feel it if you wipe your finger around the inlet, or like a misty spray all over the inside of the compressor housing?

No misty spray, just that little puddle you see.

Log knock and run it. If your knock count stars to climb, worry about it then.

You are not venting crankcase to the intake right?

In that case, yes, your turbo seals are leaking.

The garrett CHRA syndicate strikes again.

I am correct but dont worry about it. Just rub i mean run er til it blows.

I have that much in mine and I'm still running stock valve cover stuff. Plus I think my rings are on their last legs and I didn't seal the valvecover [alte like an idiot before, fixed now tho. Just got my catch can in 5min ago so that crap is getting swapped to a set up similar to yours. Didn't realize how big a 1qt catch can was until I un-boxed it

Some say that the doors of his car are upholstered with fur for when it slips him a Jeffrey. And that the fur consists of pelts taken from his numerous road kills. All we know is, he's called the Hustler.

Turbos do not have oil seals.

I did some more reading. Apparently BB turbos don't have oil seals, they have "oil slingers" that use centrifugal force to fling oil away from the shaft-ends or housings, preventing oil leaking past. Since pressure are greater on the turbine and compressor sides than in the CHRA, oil does not leak aside from a few unique conditions that we experience at the racetrack, like heal-toe downshifting.

Track, once you move up a level in NASA TX you can drive in any group below that level. The order is 1,2,3, 4(racecraft), TT, W2W. So Trey can run TT and 1 in the same day if he wants.

Hustler, how do you ever expect to improve your driving if you are constantly stressing over the condition of your engine? You have built a quality piece, go out and enjoy it. It's good that you are all over the maintenance and inspections, but it seems to me that you think about it to the point of obsession. Trust in your prep, and enjoy the car...stop obsessing.

It appears to be a touch cooler than the old location, but I have to wait on "real numbers" when I track the car in 100* heat.

Jeezus, are you new to this turbo thing? Thats normal. And your gauges, you shouldnt have put them in with your condition. Run the car and dont worry unless you see, hear, or smell something strange. (that isn't related to your farts) as for de3, shuiend, this is texas, we do what we want. I run de3 whenever I miss a tt session or need to make a few test laps. Wouldn't make sense to run in de4 though, as they are out with tt most of the time in these parts.

Every time I drive through Corsicana I smell some strange factory chemical stinch and I pull over on the highway in the same spot to make sure the car is not on fire, every time. I probably need help.
