Worked on the ducting until I ran out of rivets. It's so much easier with the bumper beam cut out. The only slightly difficult part was this bump for the hood latch.

 

Finished the box for the ducting and got it sitting in there. Need to make some mounts then trim for the air dam.



Started putting decals back on last night.

 

Nice progress, excited to see this thing sorted out soon so you can start turning some laps.

 

Got the ducting basically done. Ordering some more weatherstripping for the front. As soon as my battery isolator comes back, I'll be ready to drive it.

I had some extra time, so I got my bike back running. This gunk in the caliper was causing no front lever pressure. Feels good to ride it again.

 

Finally got my kill switch back!



Took a little programming, but back to running again!

 

FINALLY DROVE IT!

Drove to work today. was cold, but felt good. My splitter and a railroad crossing had a minor disagreement, but nothing really worse off for it.

Been daily driving the car while I work on the truck. Was lucky this Sam's club pickup actually fit in the car.



Been getting pretty funny reactions doing a bunch of normal activities with it. I think the funniest was the drive through COVID test (I was negative).

 

And this is why I was working on the truck. Now it's got the right stance. 5" F/7" R lowering kit from IHC Suspension.

And... I suck at installing rear main seals. Leaking again. 10 days till NCM.

 

Man first Marcus from 9LR (Flier129) and now you. I wonder if its the seals are picky or theres something with the kit.

 

It's not the kit, nothing from the kit touches the seal. It is a pain to install, especially laying on your back. I also suck at installing shaft seals, I've had to do a few twice before.

I decided to drop it at my buddy's shop this time and let them do it.

 

I wonder if we can make/ 3D print a seal installer tool like people have for the BP.

 

While I was loading the car, my ducting caught one of the doors for the ramps. I think I can salvage most of this at least.

 

So many feels in the last few posts lol. I always take off my splitter and bottom sturdy bois. They catch taller open trailers way too easy otherwise.

My rear main seal replacement hasn't leaked after a few idles and throttle blips. **knock on wood**

 

Yeah, I gave up any hope of trying to make the splitter fit up the ramps. I never thought about the ducting. I trimmed a little height off the sides so it won't hang as low this time. It was excessively below the air dam opening anyways.

 

Nothing too exciting, but got my fuel jug racks sorted out for the trailer. T-minus 1 week to NCM.

 

Report from Dreamstreet is that it is trans fluid. Rear main is fine, I just did a crappy rtv job on my slave cylinder.

 

truck looks good! hopefully IHC has a better reputation with Mopar things than they do with GM. I just got my truck lowered on a complete Belltech setup just over a month ago.
