Thank you turbofan. I'm itching to get it back. It's been 60 days since I have had the fun of driving the Rocketeerbandit. So I can't rush it. I want to let Clay do what he's best at doing and that's Paint and details.

Incredible color too. just wow.
why does that license plate mount have to be there, and so prominent?

^truth, lots of hologramming. Hopefully that gets fixed before it's delivered to you.
^^^ Fully agree I hate it when someone jumps in before something is finished. Nice Rx though
. All of the Rx7s over here are raped or horribly modified. Its nice to see a tidy factory ish one. Look forward to seeing the finished product

Problem?
She's back in my life after a 2 month Hiatus. This is Montego Blue under the Clouds. When Its sunny out later in the week, I will show the brilliance of the color. The Car will go back into the Decaudellas to take care of the paint shrinkage, buffed and polished once more, and to have a sealant sprayed on in January. For now she is mine.

My first Miata was montego blue and that color has had a special place in my heart ever since.
I didn't really like it at first but it grew on me.
These pictures just confirmed my love for the color, and the FD.
I haz the jealously

The next direction that I'm going with the car is replacing worm clamps with t bolts, replacing silicone hoses," I am deteoring from the metal pipes because it retains so much heat", replacing the stock plastic throttle elbow with a Greddy, and possible a stock location intercooler.

Thank you Efini, I'm just following after those that have created and made the pathway to iconic builds. I am able to do it with what I like and pick from each idea. It isn't cheap either. I have just about every single reciept since my ownership in a binder to get the totals in a calculator.
But I'm getting tid bits done that most don't have to do or can do at a cheaper rate. Parts are now getting scarce. I have come across parts that I've bought where I either purchased the last one or in a less then 5 quantity that Mazda has in stock. With that in mind, I have saved just about every part that I've taken off the car to retain for the future. All my parts were in functioning order.
If it's your dream too get one I think you should. They will be rising in price shortly and it can be out of most price ranges very soon.
There is one on Craigslist that's in decent shape in Orlando Craigslist. Check it out
