The speedo sender split is all 5 speed & early 6 speed, and later 6 speed. I think the split is somewhere around 2001? That's from memory as I've played this game recently.

I just purchased a mtuned coolant reroute. I will be also purchasing this itemize list after my wheels are paid for. I have redeemed one request at the beginning of the thread with my wheels and replaced them with the cr01 15x9+25 with 15mm spacers to fit under my flares.

This just arrived. Used and one hose is compromised so luckily I have two lower radiator silicone hoses to manipulate a similar cutout.

Just purchased my advanced heat resistant products mentioned up above minus the lava blanket.-

Spark plug boot covers, heat wrap for all the radiator hoses with heat resistant zip ties, Gold adhesive wrap for the transmission tunnel to reduce cabin temps and firewall drivers side, and heat wrap in 1" diameter for hoses and 2" X 50ft for downpipe and exhaust.

So this plus the reroute and under tray with spal fans equals dramatic engine temps dropping. I'm still considering a bonnet vent.

Also Jeff linfert will be fixing my dd issues.

Are you going to the moon with this thing?

BlackBandit 05-27-2014 06:29 PM

Lol linear essentially instead of horizontal. All precaution of course.

I'm confused... why sleeves for the plugwires? Those things are usually used in applications like domestic V8s where the plugwire is exposed to an exhaust primary.

Example:
https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401231527

It's not usually a concern with DOHC engines like ours where there is no direct exposure.

BlackBandit 05-27-2014 07:09 PM

My engine temps with the gauge were reading above 220 f. Before the spal fans and undertray, I thought it would be a good idea to cover the plug wires. I will be tracking the car so essentially it's an issue that might occur won't happen.

if your plug wires get melted, you will have lost the head a lonnnnng time ago lol

BlackBandit 06-02-2014 06:46 PM

They are not melted. Just making sure I look cool. But I think they will help with continuity.

18psi 06-02-2014 06:48 PM

liking the meaty wheels. did you raise the car? looks higher

BlackBandit 06-02-2014 06:50 PM

Yeah I need the car to settle and decide if I need to lower the back end. Other then that, I will be install 15 mm spacers to bring the wheels that much farther out to fit the flares better.

Today I lowered the rear about an inch and added 15 mm spacers all around. I couldn't be more proud then what I am now for how the car sits.

looks mean. very nice

turbofan 06-04-2014 04:54 PM

Looks pretty sick. Go down another 1/4 inch in front to give it a tiny bit of rake IMO.

BlackBandit 06-09-2014 07:19 AM

I traded my ms2 for a ms3. Time for the upgrade and less problems.

Reroute is done. MS3X is still currently being fine tuned. But for now

Car is going back for more tunning on the MS3X. Can't wait to have it all to myself. Took these today before the drop off.
