There is a reason we call it 'The Party Bus.'
We just have to make sure we are not visibly intoxicated by the time we get there. Nobody likes our department so we probably won't get the bus, but we can conceivably fit 7+driver in one of the Ford Expedition pool vehicles if we use the fold up back seats.
Not sure if you saw this on FB, but there is a very specific reason I want to see it in a legit IMAX venue: Here's the Tiny List of Theaters Showing The Force Awakens in the Best Possible Formats
Its either that or we'll spend 29th-30th in the office drinking and playing OG StarCraft of BF1942 LAN games like we did last year.

Same here, except it won't be vacation time. The week between Christmas and New Years is completely dead, but because we are classified as a "support department" we can't just bail like everyone else.
VP just walked in and asked if we were serious, saw we were watching Empire, gave approval and left. Now we just need to work out the date and time details

@codrus made me feel bad about not driving the Miata much in the last 3 months, so I took her out today and burned some rubber of the tires. Much fun was had.
Every time I get back in the Miata I realize how much I miss it. After driving the Subaru almost exclusively for so many months, there is nothing else that is as dramatically different between the two as the shifters. You know, other than the power and the AWD of course
The shifter in the Subaru is like a sad, droopy eyed armless child compared to the MR one in the Miata. I almost want to buy the Kartboy shifter and bushings combo, but I don't think the Subaru could ever feel as good as the Miata.
After speaking with Savington about it on Wednesday, I went and ordered the tool that @rleete posted earlier in the thread. I was hoping I could get it here before the weekend but it didn't happen, so I still don't have the valve stem seals replaced yet. He gave me some pointers and Gesso is going to fabricate something that might help, or at least make things a little less nerve wracking when taking a hammer to my head.

Oh yeah, its stellar.
I like how on the trace for the TPS you can see where I get all nervous and lift when the tires start to spin, and then just 'fuckit!' and mash the throttle. I can't seem to get it to plot VSS in that graph, but the tires were definitely spinning
This was in the driveway to our office, I need to check to see if I left tire marks.

Yep, now you are cooking with gas.
Speaking of gas, MLV calculates max injector flow rate as 695cc. I have no idea how accurate that is, (it should be close because its calculated from engine constants) but it sounds like the ID1000s were a solid investment.

They'll be even more solid once I finally drag you to the dark side *cough* I mean propose very financially and environmentally superior convincing arguments for the use of bio fuel in your environmentally and financially responsible transportation device.
