Before starting into the Miata this morning I needed to get the battery tested in the Fiat. Unloading it from the back of the CX5 I felt a sudden super sharp pain in my back. Dammit, now I can't move. Somehow through much heavy breathing I drove home and got in bed. Gonna be stuck here for a minute.
Not gonna get anything done on the Miata today, or indeed likely tomorrow either.
Hopefully it's just a spasm and will let go in the next 12-36 hours. I had one earlier last fall and it laid me out, it's really hard to do anything when any leverage applied through your back results in excruciating pain. I had to lie on the bed and put my foot in the air where I could reach it to tie my shoes.

thankfully it seems like it was mostly just a spasm. Definitely still in a lot of pain but I should at least not be completely bedridden tomorrow I hope. Won't be lifting anything.I feel like an old man. Am I only 28? Oi.

I was serious about the plasma cutter. It would literally double the amount of fun you would have cutting up that shell.
And easy on your back.
And easy on your back.
