MS2E.
I still want measurements. But likely won't do anything yet. You all are right -- need to save some money for track time. No point in a baller car with no money to go to the track.
Seriously considering making MRLS happen again this year...

Better be online tomorrow morning then. You'll need to sign up right away.
I think I'm going to sign up. I mean, if I cancel at least 6 weeks before the event I get a full refund, so why not, just in case I can make it??

Head should go to the shop either Monday or Tuesday, it'll only be 1 ~12 hour work day from being "finished". Once we bolt on the clutch and tranny, we can slot it in, and it'll be a seat away from being driveable with 10ae suspension and brakes. MRLS would be super easy, just might not be a finished product...

Ed, did you do B or C last year? I'll probably register for C again, not sure if I want to do both days or not though.

I'm gonna register for both days, novice group. I figure I can always cancel if I need extra cash.
Where's the best budget place to stay? Any good campgrounds around?

I'm going to register for C. I have not run LS physically, but many times in iRacing etc, and any time I have ever dropped down a group level I have found myself pushing people around the track.

I'm not at all concerned about having the car ready for MRLS in October. The concern is whether the trip and time off work is feasible.
I'll be signing up for Saturday only. After last year, I was cool to just hang out Sunday. Also I won't be there all day Sunday, will probably head north around 2-3 pm to start the trek home.
Last year I did D group, novice, because it was my first track day. This year I will do C.
Hope I can actually make it. Be great to do a Portland caravan. Might be interested in going halfsies on a large trailer and tow two cars down. Or just sack up and drive again.
