Just let me know, I won't need it for a while but don't go throwing it out without letting me know. From what I've heard though heat treating a head and trying to flatten it has a really high chance of rewarping.

This S2k is way worse than I thought. I'll be in it $11k+ by the time it's all over

Thankfully still all I have to do is pick up the parts and drop them off at the shop where it's being worked on. I've got all the parts necessary to get it on the road, but need a fender and stuff still.
More work to do...

Ryan has offered to let me drive his car. I haven't signed up yet though. I am still hoping to make it to the autox.... Not 100% sure at this point.

Get it powder coated over VHT stuff. Laz's engine was VHT'd (I think) and was chipping and falling off. I got mine powder coated and it turned out really nice. Also incredibly durable.
I VHT coated mine and haven't had any issues with oil, chemicals, or heat causing it to wear off.
It is all about prep though. I soaked mine in degreaser and steam cleaned it then roughed it up with some 200 grit.

So Aidan you have a source for powder coating? I'd be super happy with $65 for wrinkle red powder coating.

Sure you don't want to just drop it in your car?

Do it, its a Sunday.
