In the winter, or, anytime on low grip tires, the MS3 has the option of using boost target table 1 until you are in gear X or above, at which time target table 2 is used.

If your question is rhetorical, please dis-regard this answer.

What are you going to use the new tires for? RRs are road course tires, they're great for Laguna Seca in the dry. I would imagine they'd be safe for drag strip use in the dry and while not ideal for that purpose are certainly going to be better than all seasons.

They are *not* safe for day-to-day street use. Aside from the obvious lack of tread to handle any standing water at all, they're made to be lightweight and are thus more fragile than your typical street tire. They won't handle potholes/etc very well.

And they're 40 treadwear. I like them a lot for track use, they do drop off after the first couple of heat cycles but then they plateau and are very consistent basically down to the cords. I like everything about them for track use except that they're directional.

I would not run them on the street regularly. I have driven them here in Portland from my house to PIR, but that's only about 7 miles, almost entirely freeway, and was on a guaranteed dry day.

I was thinking a pair on the rear for drag days, about 20 miles each way, mostly freeway.

We tried a little drag racing on track day tires on Sixshooter’s car. My teeth were chattering just watching him. Drag racing is so much better on the right tires.

Dang, you're in the back of my mind saying m h 23, 7.5, 15 every time I look at tires. I am never gonna decide, I feel like RTC.

I'm not sure what your plans are for fuel. If you are planning to replace the FF injectors, PM me, as I need more than the Yellow Tops can give. Turbo has more air left, but I'm out of fuel. Yes, this is a solicitation. Is that within the rules here?

I plan to get a dw300 and fuelab regulator from Savington, then see how far I can go with a boost reference on the flow force injectors.

Been trying to make this piece of junk work for my wife's lab.

Finally got it pulling decent vacuum and temp, and got it spinning 17,000 rpm with no faults. That's all she needs.

Now maybe I can solve some of my stupid car issues.

Oh wait, was that a stab at the gender preference of my car? You guys know they call cotton candy "fairy floss" in Australia right?

No no, more that I have no idea what that 17,000 rpm spinamajig does, so I assumed it was some sort of lab grade cotton candy machine

You mean "non-toxic aerated hydrocarbon elongation and weaving device"

That thing is gonna purify vaccines to protect your youngin's from crazy viruses in the future. Need to spin the stuff at 17k to get what you want.

It was originally used in an HIV lab, that stuff's blood born so no real risk. Kinda like kissing a girl you just met.

But yes, it was decontaminated as well as swiped for any trace of tritium before I moved it. I don't think they were actually spinning any radiation, but tritium was used in the same room at one time.

Does this mean you're going to figure out a way to spin to 17k on your built motor?
