In the video I have BKR7E's with an .040 gap, huge. Prior to yesterday I have an .025 gap on pretty new BKR7EIX's which allows me to reach 30psi but no more.

I have 10ga running from the alternator post to a fuse, to a relay to the coils. I have all 10ga grounds and a new 4ga ground from the back of the head to the chassis. Next is to run the nice long piece of 4ga from that spot on the chassis back to the battery- terminal. Then maybe a fat wire from battery+ to the coils.

I did cut down my new set of NGK wires for them. I am not opposed to trying different wires. All my power and grounds are super nice stuff and we'll done.

Just posting because I love this thread and wanted to be a part of it

My friend who used to install lots of beat gave me this 4ga wire a while back, so now it's my ground. Not too bad, getting it through the factory grommet.

Also put some brand new BKR7E's in at the factory .032 gap. Because Vlad is always right and he has never ever jinxed me, even the time I said he did, I was totally full of ****. I am also thinking, my plug wires suck, fine for 20psi, no good for 30psi.

29psi feels reeeeel gud! Actually, 25psi does too. Way better than pokey. But scary as **** in the rain

Ordered some Taylor wires, should be about 25 ohms per wire compared to what I measured on mine, about 1300 ohms. Still well we'll within spec for NGK wires.

Me no comprendo. Shouldn't all wires have practically no resistance?

New Taylor wires, less than 25 ohms each. The plug side fits really nice, of course I had to cut them down.

Seems that spark plug wire tends to have high resistance. Lots of guys swear by Taylor wires, so I figured I'd give them a try.

Well, still haven't had a chance to see if the wires work, I mean they work fine for normal driving.

Picked up an NB1 core motor and a couple of spare axles today at a reasonable price. But I am most excited about 5 gallons of e85 to go in my almost empty tank. If I can get it to start and run reliably, I will fill it up.

If only it will stay dry for Wednesday night.

So I figured my wife would be pissed since I spent all evening driving to buy stupid *** miata parts. When I can home, she was stoked for me getting some e85 and this was waiting for me.
Happy St. Patrick's day!

What a sweetheart! Wives that support irrational Miata obsession are the best.

Wow!
Just Wow!

Now I see why Andrew is scared, I am seriously scared of my own freaking car now. Should be faster at the track now, if it ever dries out.

Now THATS what I call excitement. I can't wait to have a quick car again. I love it.

Filled up with E85 and all happy, except my tranny didn't like 25psi and 19°. Now it's more chattering and whinny than ever.

Made it home ok and like all the ads say, shifts fine, but it's not fine. Crazy noises in every gear but 4th, I got a spare, don't worry.

Crazy fast though, completely spun 3rd gear, dry.
