Well, it's a green NB1, but other than that...

Ian's car is about a thousand times nicer than mine, in almost every way. From a distance though...

Well, I finally made it over to the PO box this week, lo and behold these were waiting for me. Not sure how long that's been there, thanks again Nigel!
I will be tuning them soon, soon as I can get a dry day to do some tuning that is.

Now I just need to decide if I should sell the small Flow Force injectors or just get another miata for them

Or did you want me to make a few passes with the small injectors and the boost reference FPR before I swap? With my current tire situation my times will likely not improve but my trap speed might.

I should have said, hey Nigel, did you want me to run the small ones at full fuel pressure a few passes before I swap? I mean, I am testing them for him

That would be awesome. You are probably the person pushing them harder than anyone else, so it would be great to see what you can do at MAX FUEL. If TFB is doing test sessions a day you are there, I'll cover the dyno cost too

I know people are not going to like this, but I was very unhappy at the shop you mention. I felt like I was robbed of $75 and then got a fubared ignition wire during my experience there right at the coil connector. That really pissed me off, I don't ever want those people to touch my car again.

Sorry.

Did they have trouble pulling an RPM signal?

The amount of dynos i've seen struggle mightily with getting RPM signal on a Miata is mind-blowing to me.

I think the guy didn't even try, just reached back at my coil connector and started bitching that I had never dyno'd my car before. Said something about most folks having a wire to hook up with the dyno or something. It was a while back so I don't exactly remember all the details. I never posted that dyno because it said I made only 130whp at 10psi, I knew I had gained more than 30%. Went to a different shop and ran 230whp or something like that. I will never go back to the first shop even though it's at one of my favorite places in the world.

Why haven't we seen pictures of new tires for the drag strip yet?

Wait you really expect Carlos to get tires that are not all seasons? That is just sillyness. I am expecting 11's on the crappiest tires possible.

This...

I got some dried up old loadies from my truck, I think they might be close to 500 treadwear. Maybe tires pretty soon, I got a lot going on right now and I want a spare diff and axles to go with the tires.

I have been going to dynotuning.com in Rohnert Park, not my favorite place either. This is why I just run 1/4 miles now. At least they were consistent and didn't **** up my car at all.

Out with the old and in with the new.

Unfortunately the pink tops won't work with the little filters screens, they fall through. I thought about running without, since I have for years, but I want a real test for Nigel.

Need to button the rest of this up tomorrow, I might stop by the local parts shop and see if they have an upper intake gasket.

Does Edward still run the dyno for them???
Charlie used to be the man, then he hopped over to brighter pastures at Flying Lizard.
