It will be interesting to see how the EFR6258 spools and performs on my set-up compared to something like yours with a "proper" manifold
If the compressor will even clear your manifold.

I just found out that Traction Control is already in Megasquirt3 and I just need 2 ABS wheel sensors to use (1 front, 1 rear). I could probably get the parts for cheap... Just need front/rear knuckles with ABS holes, hub and axle.

I have ABS gears on my miata but no ABS in the hopes to do this and that was always going to be my next project (for the last two years now) but I'm still trying to figure out another electrical gremlin...and by figuring out I mean dealing with it and not giving a ****.

I would need:
- Front knuckle from an ABS car
- Front hub from an ABS car
- Front ABS sensor (matching side of the knuckle)
- Rear knuckle from an ABS car (preferably NB for dat wide track)
- ABS axle
- Rear ABS sensor (matching side of the knuckle)
- 2-channel VR converter to convert VR signals from ABS sensors to 0-5V

All in all, that's like $200-300 if you go by ebay prices.

Wouldnt it be easier to run some sort of universal wheel speed setup at that point? I could see doing all that work if you were trying to add 01+ abs as well though.

Does anyone know how good the MS TC is? I know the AEM one was described to me by Sav as hokey.

I'd ask TNTUBA...his seems to be working pretty good and looking at his auto-x vids he's using it half the time lol
that car makes some torque

I thought he had racelogic.

I could add 01 ABS later...
At that point would be better off just finding an 01 ABS car though

I'm never going to put this drivetrain into an NB.

Not sure if his is MS or not, but it is very impressive! I rode in the car and could barely tell it was working but knew it was. Very quick car. If that is what he has then I am definitely going to be looking to use my MS TC soon!

No, he definitely has Racelogic.
Racelogic is about a million times more advanced than megasquirt's traction control, with key differences being that:
- It actually uses all the wheel sensors
- It's smarter in detecting slip. 5-10% slip is what you want for maximum traction.
- It cuts ignition completely instead of retarding it
- It cuts cylinders selectively, one at a time
- It costs as much as whole megasquirt does.

The similarities is that both system use ignition to reduce engine power output. There are other OEM systems that uses ABS pump to selectively apply brake torque to certain wheels - some manufacturers call it "torque vectoring"

Torque Vectoring is awesome.

Huh? I already test fit the turbo manifold. Seems to fit fine. Apparently I never posted pictures.

I liked the tin foil chin spolier held on by bright red duct tape.

I didn't do that. But it's there to just seal the gap. And it's aluminum flashing, not tin foil
The splitter is very solid though.

You should see the ball-valve-as-idle-control valve. Infinitely adjustable!

That car had 260'000 miles when we bought it - with a broken odometer (so who really knows?) Since then it did about 36 hours of racing and still runs great. Original radiator, too! It's amazing.

Yeah, I remember replacing very little in my 2000 altima, and I gave it my share of abuse.
