Sadly, I don't think the condenser will fit the NA. :(

I'm so excited to finally start playing with the e85 tune on this bad boy
I'm really hoping fixing that leak will get us some serious boost increases

I've soiled myself already. I'll have to think long and hard where I can take logs. I hope temps warm up again because tires are already getting squirrely in the early mornings.

I believe Star Flower Drive in Chantilly is a pretty sweet place to do logs. There is a house with a Benz and Prelude out front, they really like pulls done in front of them.

oh and make sure to egg the benz as you fly by.

We're starting part throttle tuning today, if all goes well should be ready for WOT soon. Starting with ONLY 21psi

I'd be super curious to see where we end up and maybe even take some VD logs and then compare to a real dyno when it's all done.

Oof. I was on travel for two weeks for work. Not much more to report though. I got pulled over by a state trooper and was lucky not to be thrown in jail when doing a log. The officer wasn't mean about it, but notified me that at my speed (anything above 80) basically a lot of bad things can happen from all ends. He also asked if I was running a straight pipe because it "smells interesting" to which I deflected and said I had a magnaflow muffler....which is another ticketable offense.

It was a section of road I thought was desolate. I think I'll just have to head into MD to do any useful pulls but it's pretty daunting to try to run this car out.

Anyone have a dyno in their back yard?

I only have a week and half home till I'm gone for another two weeks. I have a lot of forum reading to catch up on.

this is weird:

table clearly commands boost controller duty well below when it kicks in. it definitely didn't do this before. really funky

its like it either is sticking, or losing connection, or something.

hopefully just a glitch and goes away with this recent revision.

trying 25psi now

Yeah anything over 80 is definitely a you get fucked up ticket in VA. I watched a guy leave the Friday night ChickFila car meets and get pulled over for being stupid. Ended up with 11 tickets.

I hope the car has enough traction. It gets scary hitting bumps at full throttle. Maybe if I find a nice long uphill somewhere.

Reckless is 6 demerits on the license. Any mile over 80 (or was it 90) was a day in jail. I don't know. It kind of rocked my confidence and I have to be ultra discrete and careful. Though I didn't get a ticket, I'm sure I'll be on a 'list' and won't get off so easy next time. Also I don't know if it helped but I had the Car's Bible in the trunk which holds the registration and info and was unable to reach it without exiting the vehicle. I offered several times and he just asked if the car was registered to me and looked up my info that way.

3rd gear from 2k to redline. every time. in a deserted area, ideally with good visibility both ways to make sure no cops around. be careful, this aint your typical 250hp Miata lol

5th gear in a 6-speed, tail end of morning rush-hour on a crowded multi-lane interstate, ready? GO!

Years ago in the mid 2000's Fairfax County Police where psyber lives bought a GTR to take street racing just to arrest people.

Pfff you guys need to come to Arkansas, lots of long empty smooth straights on my end of the state. If you're a good ol boy and know the cops they won't mess with you. A few years ago I did get hit pretty hard with a 11 point ticket, they pull your license at 21.

25psi I bet it makes a looooooot of power. Virtual dyno cough cough

The first pull of three I had to shut down early. Was loosing traction and rotating. It's getting cold for tires. Friday should be in the 80's.

So we are officially running #ALLOFIT

Not most of it. Not much of it. But a true, legit, 100% boost duty. On an EFR6758
He has actually exceeded the flow limitation of the charge piping. It will not go over 30psi no matter what.
