It's fine for an NA. Makes me wish I had an NB with it's wider wheel clearance
I just need to tinker. I seriously think I have a problem and should just pick up a different hobby. I wonder if I break things only to have the opportunity to fix them.

It's difficult to say. Self sabotage may only be realized from within.
I asked Vlad to tune the car to the point where it's most nearly useless, while subconsciously preparing for a time if this motor ever failed. Almost waiting for the inevitable. Only to make it a little more reckless than before. Luckily that's only all of it on e85, but conservative on pump which is used 90% of the time.
I long for a naturally aspirated K swapped NB..... To turbo and make useless. The development from all these awesome vendors is making it way too reliable and easy to feed into the addiction.
The nice thing is I haven't grown bored of the miata. This is the longest I had any one car.

The logistics of breaking in a new block on some new cams is not appealing to me. Being able to set it up enough to do some load/vacuum pulls. And I'm uncertain about simply swapping the head onto the current block without some knowledge on the health of the bearings. Meh. Burn that bridge when I get there. For now, I have an awesome radiator leak to assess!

I think I've reached that point with this current setup. But I like having all my ducks in a row, to minimize downtime (this is me being preconditioned to think of the miata as my only car or daily driver). It'd be a while before I feel comfortable picking up another miata unless I find a great deal on an NB shell.

You should pick up wood working, magic cards, bitcoin mining, another miata...... I mean the LFX motor looks like a sweet setup.
450hp has to be pretty intense. If I had that much power I'd probably end up dead. Nothing like tirespin mid corner.
