Start fracking (again)
Open Keystone XL (again)
Open any Alaska fields that were closed
Approve the Israel gas pipeline to Europe
Promise to start shipping LNG to Europe
STOP purchasing Russian gas, fer Chrissakes
Allow Federal land leases (again)
Sanction the **** out of Russian money and goods. Freeze their funds.
Freeze the funds of the oligarchs and deny them entry to the USA
Sanction any country that cooperates with Russia
Funny thing is while the above would be disastrous for Russia, it would be the opposite for America. Oil prices drop, inflation would drop, more great-paying jobs would be created, and America would be in charge of pulling energy from the ground under our rules---responsibly.

How do U.S. Democrats like the jack-booted tactics of Justin Trudeau? Apparently quite a bit. Give $50 to the "wrong" cause, have all your bank funds frozen. Sounds reasonable...

#2: https://www.bbc.com/
Both of these sources do original reporting rather than re-publishing wire service stories. Of the two, I find Al Jazeera to cover the region with a bit more depth and substance.
Since I'm in the US, I can't access the "real" BBC (bbc.co.uk) without running a VPN, which I can't do at work. So it redirects to BBC.com, which I find to have an US-centric bias.
My fear--Washington is taking notes from Canada.

I'll do you one better:
Under President Obama, Russia annexed Crimea.
Under President Biden, Russia is on the verge of annexing the Ukraine.
Under President Trump, Russia did nothing hostile at all against its neighbors.
So, for all of the #NeverTrump crowd, how does this reconcile with your narrative that Trump was a Russian puppet and/or Putin's BFF?
Huh?
Oil prices are inherently speculative in nature, as oil is a futures-traded commodity.
Any time it looks like any nation is going to go to war with any other nation, especially when one or both of them are major oil or gas producers, the spot price of oil & gas instantly jump.

The Biden administration is PUNISHING every middle and low income American, regardless of political affiliation. Adding insult to injury, Biden buys 100,000 barrels of oil from Russia DAILY.
What does history tell you about stupid administrations?

You're ignoring 2/3 parts of the claim and the entire point.
Gas prices have already gone way up and have already been a sore point for this administration:
Same with inflation:
and supply chain issues:
These things have already happened / currently happening.
Sure oil prices will probably go up more, but this article was just gaslighting to move blame away from the already disastrous policies of the current admin to something happening in the future. You know, as propagandist like to do.
