It gets worse when you realize that this ******** is the son of the guy that ran against the current mayor, so in those circles had to be somewhat known as a ********. Ergo, he probably got special treatment. Ergo, this happened becasue the system the left would like to expand failed yet again. Yet I'm sure the left thinks this can be prevented 'if we just pass stricter laws'.

Has anyone else noticed that they are referring to the gun that was used as a "high powered rifle, similar to the AR-15", and yet not actually calling it an assault rifle? Seems rather odd, given the overwhelming propensity of the media to label virtually everything as an assault rifle.

A criminal does what criminals in Chicago do on Independence day? I'd say it's about half as many killed as Memorial Day 2022, but somehow this one is more newsworthy?

Cue the Media talking about "assault rifles"
Cue the President telling us he banned assault rifles before and he's going to do it again

In order for what you are postulating to be true, my friend and co-worker Paul, who was there with his wife and two daughters, and personally witnessed a body hit the ground, would have to be lying.

I guess you can claim that he's lying. Personally, I don't find that to be any more likely than that the various social media outlets who we all love to criticize for censoring things are doing what they do.
