Maybe next time, don't blatantly lie about it?

What was promised:
You could not get sick from Covid (96-97% efficacy).
You could not carry Covid and thus spread Covid.
You would not be hospitalized or die if you got the "rare" breakthrough case.
You don't have to wear a mask (eventually).
Pandemic would end.
It's safe and has no side effects.

One out of six doesn't scream confidence.

He just wants to diddle her pooper. I he ever meets her he's going to say "look I stood up for you in my gay car enthusiast forum, let me touch your hiney while you call me a naughty boy."

Just pointing out hypocrisy.

A trend has emerged whereby whenever any political figure, from the party which holds control of a given branch of government, makes any statement whatsoever, those who are most strongly opposed to that party will artfully twist it into something which they can mock.

Like, if President Trump had issued an executive order strongly supporting kittens and puppies, the rabid left would have started digging up every WWII-era photo they could find of a **** officer or soldier holding either a kitten or a puppy (and, believe me, there are a lot of such photos) and using them to preach their "Trump is a ****" sermon.

It just saddens me to see those on the right, a party / ethos which I find less objectionable than the far-left, using their same tactics.

The Biden administration is doing enough things wrong that there's no need to be making **** up in order to mock them.

I keep telling people that Biden shaves his legs.

I'm glad you can take some good-natured ribbing. I'm going through the same thing locally where our single BLM-loving council member has actually been quite moderate while in office. I said so, and was berated by a rabid Republican. As this whole episode in government overreach has caused me to no longer associate with a formal political group, I told him that at least the Socialist acted better than the two GOP-chosen council members, who are ****-tards at best.

Less than 5% of Malawians have been fully vaccinated. So Jambo says their apparent resistance to severe disease was likely built up as a result of all the prior exposure to earlier variants.
Will the protection last? (snip) Similarly, when the next variant comes along, Mahdi says, it will be important not to immediately panic over the mere rise in infections. This rise will be inevitable, and any policy that's intended to stop it with economically disruptive restrictions, such as harsh COVID-19 lockdowns, isn't just unnecessarily damaging — "it's fanciful thinking." Instead, officials should keep an eye out for the far more unlikely scenario of a rise in severe illness and death.

You're pointing out hypocrisy that doesn't really exist.

And it's not even on point, no mention of ***** or white supremacists. Like the truckers im ca right now are being labeled. It's a tatic right out of the playbook.

Where's good real example of this from the right?

90% Commie to 10% "alt right" is probably even too little. 95/5 is more like it.

Look at all the BLM nastiness that happened for a year, and then look at January 6th, with one death of an unarmed woman. Which group has been held without bail for over a year? Which one was infiltrated/initiated by the FBI?

And now the peaceful truckers--who are mostly vaccinated--are literally being called Hitler.

It's all a lie, and reminds me of all the work the media has put in on the question of inflation...

This is a good example of why it's becoming impossible for people who are not political extremists to have conversations with people who are.

The latter group isn't interested in conversation. If you don't 100% agree with them on all points, then they just slap some random label on you and set the mental switch to "ignore."

Diamond Dave is literally doing the exact behavior here which I was parodying in the redhead meme.

With those at both far-extremes of the political spectrum consistently practicing this same behavior, and demanding the same of their elected overlords, the security, stability, and global relevance of our country is only going to continue to decline.

The right has been called ***** and and white supremacists so often and so regularly, I'm honestly starting to doubt some of the facts of WWII.

What exactly is the far-extreme? I'm sure you'd call me far-extreme I suppose, but my politics have been pretty damn consistent since you've known me -- all I've seen is a massive shift to the left, including the republicans.

The shift is so extreme, you have people like ultra-liberals Bill Maher making similar comments about it:

https://deadline.com/2022/01/bill-ma...ed-1234922380/

Bill Maher Fires Back At Those Who Say His Politics Have Changed, Blames Looney Left Policies

January 28, 2022 9:05pm

...

“Let’s get this straight,” Maher said. “It’s not me who’s changed, it’s the left. A large contingent has gone mental, and I’m willing to call them out.”

...
Republicans, Alt-Right, White People, Straight People, people with functioning brain cells, have been absolutely vilified and demonized by the left (i.e., your buddies in propaganda new media) for years and years. Are they the far-extreme?

J: What are you talking about, Brainey, the news is not biased why would you say that?

B: One Word: Russia.

A political machine used the power of the federal government to literally fund and invent a story about a political adversary. This fake, non-researched, completely bullshit, fabricated, story ran for over 4 years, and you still hear about it today when the propaganda news needs to divert attention away from negative stories about their political alignment. They used this story to undermine a presidency for his entire term.

They did this again with parents. The leftist DOJ drafted a letter for the NSBA to write, to give back to the FBI to investigate parents as domestic terrorists. Then your buds in the news got to run those headlines for weeks... digressing.

And if it wasn't Russia, it was feeding fish.

If it wasn't feeding fish, it was mocking the disabled.

If it wasn't mocking the disabled, it was being a xenophobe.

You get it.

What's so extreme from the right? They vote with left and demonized Trump like the left. in fact, if you ask me there's hardly a difference between a democrat and republican in congress.

So again, what is the far-extreme? Is it the violent Capital tourists who were unarmed and dispersed within a few hours? Or is it the mostly-peaceful CHOP/CHAZ occupiers who violently commandeered over six city blocks for a month? The VP helped fund the legal fees/bonds of the later, so clearly they cannot be considered far-extreme...

Or is it just anytime someone on the right, who's been constantly demeaned and belittled, just makes a retaliatory jab back?
