Ok, not exactly current event news and likely not being paid by taxes but can someone explain WTF is going on here? I know I'm armchair quarterbacking this here but please take a look.
Maybe six can edumacate me on why trucks are dumping sand into a pit which an excavator is digging out to fill up earth movers to haul a crazy amount of sand to around 100 yards away to then have a dozer spread out.
Wouldn't you just lay out more steel sheets to get to where you wanna go?
Why are the wave sounds fake is my biggest question?
im guessing the hole is easier to dig out of and the trucks that are hauling sand onto the sandy beach cant drive on the sand where the sand needs to go on the sand.
but it looks like they are combatting erosion. something they didnt do at OBX:
The Morning Briefing: Village Idiot Karen Bass Fudged Palisades Fire Report to Save Herself
From the article: Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was a study in monumental incompetence during the fire and has managed to be even more inept since.
People who lost their homes are now mired in a bureaucratic nightmare as they try to rebuild. Mayor Bass doesn't seem to have the time or the will to help them. OK, she's also not working with a lot of mental firepower.
Bass did, however, have the time to direct people to editorially sanitize the official report about the fire in order to cover up her own ineptitude, as well as mistakes that were made by the Los Angeles Fire Department. My HotAir colleague John Sexton covered it all here. Like everything involving Bass and the Palisades fire, it's a sordid tale.
Bass not only ordered changes in the report in an attempt to change the narrative, but she also lied about having done so.
The mother of a Fremont High School student who was struck by an SUV during a student protest said she is angry with school officials and believes they should have prevented the demonstration.
The student was hit by a red SUV while participating in an anti-ICE protest outside the school. She is now recovering at home with bumps and bruises ...
The girl's mother said the incident should never have happened and that students were not informed enough to organize such a protest.
...
The mother believes Fremont High School bears responsibility for the incident, pointing to the fact that her daughter was allowed to make protest materials during class time.
'My daughter was allowed to make her poster in class, in school, to career class,' she said. 'Where are the teachers and why weren't they paying more attention to what these kids were doing?'
...
'I feel the school is quite a bit at fault for this,' the mother said.
President Trump has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS and the Treasury Dept, alleging that they failed to prevent an IRS contractor from leaking his tax returns to the New York Times in 2020.
Let's say, hypothetically, that we wins that lawsuit.
Where do you suppose that $10 billion is going to come from?
Yup, from your wallet and mine.
Good ole' President Trump, definitely doing what is best for the country and for the American taxpayers.
The money is probably beside the point. Can you imagine the s***-storm should the IRS be found culpable? Or worse, if they settle?
There’s either no penalty for leaking the returns - incidentally, against the law - or no desire of the swampies to investigate it. This is a time-honored way of getting justice/revenge when the usual suspects aren’t interested.
Does the name E. Jeanne Carroll ring a bell?

The returns were leaked by IRS contractor Charles "Chaz" Littlejohn, who made numerous public posts bragging about his actions.
In 2023, Littlejohn was arrested, pled guilty, and was sentenced to five years in Federal prison. He is presently incarcerated at Federal Correctional Institution, Marion.
So you're saying the former administration convicted Lil Jon for leaking IRS documents of Orange Man even though they were the ones calling for him to release his IRS documents?
Sounds to me like they were sending a warning signal to anyone planning on doing that **** to them.

I hate it when a guy tries to protect his reputation while at the same time righting a wrong.
The whataboutism is hilarious. I guess all the Epstein drops means that we're shifting focus now. How about focusing on this:

See! We’re punishing someone!
You can forget about it now, nobody in government bears any responsibility!
