I predict a civil action filed by the parent of the kid driving the car against the operator of the truck.

I bet the 5 released terrorists--that will attack us again--can write/spell better than Bergdahl:

Famiely
worm (instead of warm)
cittuwation
origanal
cercomstance
Aphganistan
bottum
espeshly
disconcer
safty
commonsence
cercomstance
sighns
nightmar
where (instead of were, twice)
Unexceptable
then (instead of than)
worce
actuly
aphgan
ellaments
wiat
evadince

I'm assuming he used hooked on phonics.

Default meanwhile, in our back yard

So here's how it works:

The High Speed Rail (to nowhere) that no one wants, is getting a cash infusion of $250 million this year from the FEDs, PLUS cash infusions in the following years from revenue generated from California's "cap and trade" scheme.

For those who don't get it, fake money from the FEDS will added with money stolen from California companies on a project designed to repay crony capitalist contractors, environmental impact testing companies, and LOADS of consultants. These companies then send money to the PACs that support the government officials who are pushing the project (that no one wants) as payoff. Rinse. Repeat.

Every union in California does the same. Crony Capitalism as art.

The cleverest part is that they're starting it out between Victorville and Fresno, through land that will be "Kelo'd" easily. Once they get to denser populations, there will be HUGE backlash. But by then it will be too late...they will have already sunk tens of BILLIONS on this losing project.

BTW, the new cost projections are DOUBLE what was on the ballot, the trains are barely faster than AMTRAK, the cost to ride is higher than a plane ticket and rider projections have dropped precipitously. In other words, we were sold a crock of ****.

Even Florida turned down the rail fiasco when it was offered to us.

Gee I wonder why.

Even not all of the Japanese lines are profitable and the population density there is insane.

The maximum family grant and family caps: A racist law that punishes the poor.

Huh. Whodathunk, this kind of thing costs more money than it saves.

"I do not need to be punished for deciding to have children."

Uh, apparently, you do. Stop breeding.

Is this article for real?

It takes this stance that just because these people are not having kids specifically to get welfare that we should be obligated to pay them for their poor decisions anyway. Its absolutely ******* ridiculous to me that a mom can sit there and play victim because she decided to have a second child when she was in no financial position to even properly care for the first child. "Oh woe is me. I am just trying to be a good mother by having another child so I can provide my first child with an even more meager existence than before further increasing its chances of growing up in abject poverty with a low education and terrible life prospects. If only the State would stop punishing me by not paying me more than the law allows to protect me and my children from my own ignorance."

I am so tired of people being framed as the victim and feeling entitled to aid when they clearly made absolutely terrible decisions in rapid succession and will continue to do so in the future. This isn't some family that was established and was then ravished by lay offs or unemployment. This was an incredibly poor household who decided to commit child endangerment by creating another mouth to feed when they are completely unable to do so. If our foster system wasn't such **** I would advocate for removing the child from the parents at birth and jailing them.

I've got to ask; are those the only benefits or is that in addition to food stamps, section 8 housing, aid to dependent children and all the other programs? I get the feeling that the figures mentioned are the "walking around money"

Where is the father? Or, who da baby daddy?
