So all the instances of government ineptitude are feigned in attempt to make the public believe it isn't savvy enough to pull off widespread conspiracies?

The Apollo moon landings were staged. The Deep State colluded with Stanley Kubrick to produce them.

However, since Kubrick was such a perfectionist, he insisted that they shoot on-location, which is why NASA ultimately had to build the Saturn rockets and actually land on the moon.

But, in all seriousness, tell me more about who exactly the "Deep State" consists, what their motivation to plot against the President, and why they seem to be doing such an ineffective job of it.

Because if this actually is the result of a conspiracy, I'm reminded of that scene in the South Park movie where the boys are trying to figure out how to rescue Terrance and Philip, only they really suck at espionage and have no idea what to do, and Stan gets up and says "
Uh, Terrance and Phillip are supposed to be killed, so we think we should...prank call a bunch of policemen! A-and, and have pizzas sent to them that they didn't order! Viva la Resistance!"

The deep state is groups of individuals trying to "save" the nation from Trump. Government is still inept, and more so when ambassadors, fbi agents, and defense secretaries think they are above the President.

An FBI Lawyer altered documents to support a FISA warrant, to spy on Trump.
His girlfriend, who is part of "the resistance", both worked with the ICIG (chief legal coucil at the time) who also altered whistle-blower forms and changed the hearsay requirement.

I see...

So, in what way does the fact that Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn, Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos and Roger Stone have all either plead guilty to, or been convicted, of, committing various crimes while in the employ of, and on behalf of, the President, tie into any of that?

Or are you saying that all of those people were actually planted within the Trump campaign / cabinet by the Deep State as moles?

Could very well be. After all, Trump isn't even defending their conduct.

Unless you consider saying "Oh, yeah? Well, these other people also lied to Congress, so how come they're not in jail?" to be a defense.

Would any of those individuals being convicted of a crime if the deep state didn't start a witch hunt? and why wasn't anything real or substantive found relating to the investigation at hand?

Paul Manafort, was most likely a plant in order to tie Trump to Russia in the first place -- he went out of his way to get on the team, and was quickly fired. His conviction has nothing to do with Trump.
Michael Cohen was convicted on tax evasion. evidence, again, only obtained during a shame investigation that yielded zero collusion, since the collusion was fabricated and documents leading to the investigation falsified.
Michael Flynn was fired by Trump, and as we discussed him last year, he's a nothing burger and was convicted about lying about a conversation that didn't matter during a shame investigation that yielded zero collusion.
Rick Gates was convicted on tax evasion, and lying, based on evidence discovered during a shame investigation that yielded zero collusion, since the collusion was fabricated and documents leading to the investigation falsified.
George Papadopoulos was another stooge used to tie Trump to Russia in the first due to his previous Russia connection. He was convicted about lying about his connection to Russian during a shame investigation that yield zeroed collusion.
Roger Stone was convicted about "lying" about his Wikileak connection -- because democrats leaked their own emails to Wikileaks, made it out to look like Russia, and used that "Russia" connection to make it out as the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia, but the shame investigation yielded zero collusion.

so, besides manafort and papadopoulos, nothing but collateral damage.

But then again, I'm just a victim of mind-control by my cult leader. source: cnn.

Hard to say. It matters a lot whether you believe that a deep-state conspiracy exists in the first place, and whether you classify the situation overall as a witch-hunt.

I guess I'd posit that witness tampering and lying to congress under oath are crimes regardless of whether or not the President has the lowest approval rating of any President since the end of the Great Depression.

If nothing "real or substantive" was found, people wouldn't be in prison. That tends to be true, at least in countries with a functioning court system, regardless of executive-level politics.

Shifting gears a bit, the following is unrelated to the deep-state conspiracy to discredit the President by making it appear that members of his cabinet are responsible for the Lindbergh kidnapping.

It's normal for appointed officials to do a bit of ***-kissing. It's not quite normal for them to claim that their boss is the divinely-chosen messenger of God.

Rick Perry, under scrutiny for his Ukraine trip, says Trump is God’s ‘chosen one’

Rick Perry has served as energy secretary since the beginning of the Trump administration and is soon to leave his post. He led a prayer Nov. 19 at his final Cabinet meeting.

By Julie Zauzmer
November 25, 2019 at 11:36 a.m. CST

Energy Secretary Rick Perry believes that President Trump was chosen by God to lead the country — and he handed the president a one-page description of morally flawed biblical kings as inspiration, he said.

“God’s used imperfect people all through history. King David wasn’t perfect. Saul wasn’t perfect. Solomon wasn’t perfect,” Perry said in an interview on Fox News.

Trump caused a stir in August when he described himself in seemingly messianic terms: In one day, he looked to the sky while calling himself “the chosen one” to handle trade policy, and quoted the words of a conspiracy-theorist radio host who likened Trump to “the King of Israel” and “the second coming of God.”

Perry says he told the president that this posturing, which some critics took as egotistical or even blasphemous, was correct.

“ ‘Mr. President … you said you were the chosen one,' ” Perry recalled saying in the Oval Office. “I said, ‘You were. … You are here in this time because God ordained you.’

That's a fallacy.

All cats are mammals, therefore all mammals are cats.

...to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, ... The Special Counsel is authorized to [investigate] ... any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump

The claim was Trump was colluding with Russia in election interference. What does tax evasion have to do with the claim that Trump was working with Russia to defeat Clinton in 2016?

That's a fallacy: strawman, responding to an argument which I'm not making.

Most people who are convicted of a crime and sentenced to Federal prison are criminals. And the Federal courts tend not to convict people without proof of criminal wrongdoing. Therefore, if a person has been convinced of a crime and is incarcerated in a Federal prison, then there is probably real and substantive proof that they committed a crime.

I didn't say that it did, merely that it's a crime regardless of who is in the Oval Office. You're the only one here who seems fixated on whether or not a link exists between these things.

But those crimes had nothing to do with Trump. Only that they talked to law enforcement, something you don't do -- especially when they are GOING TO use everything you say against you, especially++ when you say something false [accidental or on purpose]. And those crimes were only discovered under an investigation that was a shame to start -- it's possible those convictions could all be overturned. Let's see what that Horowitz report says in a few weeks.

And when the deep state investigate themselves, things get swept under the rug:

NYPD Turns Against the FBI: Seized Laptop Shows Hillary Clinton Covered Up Weiner’s Alleged Sex Crimes With 15 yr old During Election

...Instead of rescuing the minor from a sex-obsessed Weiner, Clinton who was the Democratic presidential candidate at the time and eventual front runner, counseled her long time aide Abedin, to end her relationship with him because bad publicity could harm the campaign. NYPD officials said Clinton and Abedin discovered Weiner’s sexting with the minor in April 2016 and that he had already been corresponding with the youth for months.

Neither Clinton nor Abedin apparently did anything to stop the abuse of the minor. Instead, the repeated incidents — which breach a host of state and federal laws — were kept quiet.

Yet Clinton, who champions herself as a women’s rights advocate, did nothing to help the girl. And it gets even worse. NYPD said the high school sophomore was suffering from depression and told Weiner during over seven months of correspondences that she often wanted to end her life. Weiner did nothing to try to stop the girl from hurting herself, NYPD sources said.

It is not clear whether Abedin or Clinton knew the girl was having suicidal thoughts. But NYPD sources said the FBI did know because the proof is warehoused on Weiner’s silver Dell Inspiron 15 7000 laptop, which the FBI obtained via search warrant in October.

That means, as NYPD sources highlight, the FBI knew Clinton did nothing to try and stop Weiner from repeatedly sexting a minor during the election. And the FBI likewise has apparently done nothing since the election to charge — or even question — Clinton for what appears to be intentionally endangering a minor entangled in a child pornography case. FBI Director James Comey said his agents combed Weiner’s laptop prior to the election and found no evidence indicating Hillary Clinton had engaged in any criminal conduct. Any. Somehow, Comey and his understudies were able to comb through over approximately 600,000 emails and files on the computer in a mere week. Yet found nothing linking Clinton to the Weiner child pornography case?

I assume you're disputing what I wrote?

Go here:

https://news.gallup.com/poll/116677/...cs-Trends.aspx

The first table is term-average approval ratings for every president since Harry Truman. In other words, the average approval rating over their entire term. The lowest number on that list is 45.4% (Truman) followed by Carter and then Nixon.

Now go here: https://news.gallup.com/poll/203198/...ald-trump.aspx

Same data, but for Trump. It's not in the previous chart because Trump's term is not complete. His term-to-date average is 40%, the lowest of all.

If you alter the past-presidents' data to only look at numbers through the November of their third year in office (which is where Trump is now), then he's tied for last place with Carter.

Obviously, you could claim that Gallup has a political agenda and / or is part of the Deep State conspiracy, in which case I'd simply accept the impossibility of continuing this conversation.

but like, who cares about his approval ratings? His GOP approvals are mighty high, that's his voter base, and now his minority approval rates are doubling...

he's wining on all fronts:

Trump Is WINNING On EVERY Major Political Front, Everything Democrats Have Tried Has BACKFIRED. Immigration, The Economy, Reelection campaigning, Fundraising, and Impeachment, Trump is winning on ALL OF IT. Democrats have failed to put a dent in anything Trump has been working on and now even media outlets like Huffpo, WaPo and CNN are forced to admit it.| Huffington Post called it the "dreadful truth" that Trump got his wall not just physically but legally. WaPo was forced to admit on CNN that Democrats are panicking over the impeachment failure. Impeachment backfires massively against Democrats resulting in independent voters souring And Trump is now seeing his support among minority communities nearly DOUBLE. As much as mainstream media doesn't want to admit it, or how much they will smear me for simply pointing it out. Trump is winning his political battles and Democrats keep failing. Obama tried to help, he tried to guide them but they rejected him and now even WaPo calls Obama a conservative. The Democrats are fractured and failing, impeachment is a mess, and Trump is facing a landslide reelection. The facts are there and fake news outlets are lying if they say otherwise.

The wolves only want the benefits for them selves.. There was an article few days ago about the paid vacation hearing.. congress people get like 150 days per year paid vacation and were arguing about making it 6 weeks mandatory for everyone else. I'll see if i can dig it up.
