PROOF EMERGES THAT ELIZABETH WARREN’S SON ATTENDED PRIVATE SCHOOL DESPITE HER DENIALS

Presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren has repeatedly denied that her children attended private school, including last month, when confronted by a school-choice supporter.

“We are going to have the same choice that you had for your kids because I read that your children went to private schools,” Sarah Carpenter said to Sen. Warren in a moment that was caught on video.

“My children went to public schools,” Warren told Carpenter.

Yet proof has emerged today that Warren is once again misrepresenting her past. Yearbook photos have come to light showing Warren’s son Alex attended the private Kirby Hall School for his fifth grade year, and one of the country’s most elite private schools, the Haverford School. Although the prep school declined comment, the yearbooks were ironically obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, whose chairman Michael Goldfarb also attended Haverford.

They show that Warren sent her son to private school from at least 1987 through 1994, from 5th grade until senior year in high school.

Located in suburban Philadelphia, the all-boys college preparatory school runs $39,500 a year.

Minorities are expressing frustration with Democrats like Warren for abandoning support for charter schools.

"Let’s be clear in all the ways we talk about this: Money for public schools should stay in public schools, not go anywhere else," Warren said during September's Democratic debate.

Yet 10 years before entering politics, Warren wrote in her book “The Two Income Trap” that she supported vouchers to allow parents to choose among schools.

“A taxpayer-funded voucher that paid the entire cost of educating a child (not just a partial subsidy) would open a range of opportunities to all children,” Warren wrote. "With fully funded vouchers, parents of all income levels could send their children – and the accompanying financial support – to the schools of their choice."

She later reversed her position when she entered the Senate. Her education plan now calls for "aggressive oversight" of charter schools and vows to eliminate federal funding for charter school expansion. It has won her the support of the country's most powerful teachers' unions, the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers.

After the video of Warren went public and the first yearbook was discovered, a Warren aide admitted that the senator’s son only went to public school until 5th grade.

Clinton Donors Charged in Massive Campaign-Finance Scheme

...Eight people, including major Hillary Clinton donors and a witness in the Mueller investigation, have been charged in a massive campaign-finance scheme, the Justice Department announced on Tuesday.

The individuals conspired to “make and conceal conduit and excessive campaign contributions” valued around $3.5 million in the 2016 election campaign and beyond, according to the announcement. Although the indictment does not specifically name the recipient of the donations, it is clear that the contributions went to groups allied with Clinton’s presidential campaign.

One of those charged, George Nader, is a Lebanese American businessman who was a witness in the Mueller report. Nader was also caught in 2018 in possession of child pornography, but received partial immunity in exchange for testimony in the Mueller investigation. He faces between 15 to 40 years in prison if convicted on child-pornography charges.

Also indicted on campaign-finance charges was Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, who hosted a fundraiser for Clinton in Los Angeles in 2016 and who conspired to conceal campaign donations from 2016 to 2018. Khawaja owns an online-payments company used by, among others, debt collectors, offshore gamblers, and pornographers.

Pennsylvania AG Shapiro: State Rep. Movita Johnson-Harrell To Plead Guilty To Stealing Over $500,000 From Nonprofit She Founded

...HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS/AP) — Prosecutors on Wednesday charged a state House representative from Philadelphia and accused her of stealing over $500,000 from a nonprofit organization she founded to serve the mentally ill and poor who were fighting addiction. Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced the charges against Movita Johnson-Harrell, which include perjury, tampering with public records and theft.

Court papers say the theft went on for years, as she converted funds for the Motivations Education and Consultation charity into investment properties, vacations and luxury clothing.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro says Johnson-Harrell “engaged in corruption that exploited a charitable nonprofit organization she created.”

“She has agreed to take responsibility for her crimes and will plead guilty to her charges,” Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said.

The 53-year-old Democrat won a special election in March for a West Philadelphia district.

Johnson-Harrell is the first female Muslim member of the state House. She turned herself in to police in Philadelphia. She also agreed to resign from her position.

Johnson-Harrell said in a statement that she is “saddened and dismayed by the nature of the allegations.”
