From what I'm seeing 4k will be where my powerband should start. Not ideal, but like you said downshift then haha.

A 2560 isn't in the picture though. If you find me a garrett non 20 year old non oem 2560 with less than 5k miles for 375 I'll borrow money and buy it then sell this 2876. Its like that saying a lot of moms have said, if you're hungry, you'll eat. It's not ideal and what I want, but its what I have to go with if I want a reliable turbo right now. And nothing says I wont build the motor one day. Although I can't even afford a decent turbo so that's a stretch.

Annnnnd besides, I always did want a big turbo supra highway monster. So now I'll have the baby version. While I have my great hair I'll keep the miata and my big *** blow drier, then when it starts falling out I'll have a midlife crisis and get me that supra.

lol you do what you need to do. No one's gonna get upset or care much about it

It's amusing to me because I've seen this over and over and over again for many many years. On this very site. Things never change.
People rarely change their mind aobut their choices, and almost everyone gets on here to just get affirmation or encouragement. when they don't, they justify the purchase anyway because it makes them feel better
later one, many voice their regrets, some don't. it is what it is.

So when I rant in someone's thread it's because of that, and nothing personal (despite every n00b under the sun always thinking it's PERSONAL and I'm SO MAD hahaha, like I care about some random guy across the continent and what they do with their beater Miata )

Wasnt asking for affirmation. I was a simple question that only a few answered. Between this site amd another it came down to a price to performance thing. My beater miata is sik dope dopety sick bro so and gonna be reliable enough to drive to you so were not across the continent. I love you for giving everyone ****, ive been up many a nights the last 4 years reading your stuff and a lot of my choices through my build were on your word.
